I thought I would put together a few extra ideas for kids this year. Most of you probably already have lists of electronics or toys and video games but if you are stumped for ideas of things that should last beyond Christmas morning here goes:
Disco Ball Diffuser. This is a little more expensive but so fun and different and could be a real statement in a kid’s room. My daughter loves disco balls- they are so pretty when they catch the light and this is a diffuser so you can keep things smelling good without candles.
Owala Water Bottles. I know water bottles are always on lists – especially Hydros but I recently purchased one of these and it is my absolute favorite. It comes with a straw inside and the water flows so nicely. This one is affordable and dishwasher safe.
Igloo Cooler. Ok this isn’t going to be the most exciting gift but it is super practical. My daughter is so hard on her lunch boxes – she takes them to tournaments and they get banged up, kicked around. I am getting her one of these little Igloo Coolers that look more durable and should hold up better. I plan to tie a big bow around it and stuff it with all her favorite snacks.
Smiley Beanie. Such a cute beanie – you can find more colors of a similar beanie here. These are great white elephant gifts under $20.
Light Up Roller Blades. These look so fun and come in tons of colors. I like at least one gift that will get the kids outside and moving.
Snow Sled. Fun sleds are a great gift if you head to the snow frequently or live in a cold climate.
Bean Bag Chairs. These bean bags are so well made and comfy. I love this Harry Potter version but there are several other options available.
New Harry Potter Illustrated Book. Book 5 was just released in the illustrated format and a perfect gift for any little muggles out there.
Wireless Doorbell. This is more of a gift for Mom and Dad honestly but is still something fun to put under the tree. It is a wireless doorbell- you plug one side into an outlet and take the second remote elsewhere. If you are constantly screaming up the stairs at your children, try this instead. Just ring the doorbell to alert the little monsters that it is time to come downstairs.
Craft Mat. This is a great mat to buy for artistic kids that like to paint, color, mix up slime… whatever messy endeavor they enjoy. This mat is easy to clean and keeps the craft supplies off the furniture or carpet or bedding. It rolls right up for easy storage. I really want this for my 15 year old for her crafting, her jewelry making and also for when she paints her nails.
Standing Pencil Pouch. This is such a cute little pouch that comes in several colors and can hold markers, paintbrushs etc..
Glow in the Dark Throw. These come in so many patterns- video games, sports, unicorns, moon and stars… A fun throw blanket that glows in dark- this would be especially perfect for car trips.
Rechargeable Laser Tag Set. This is a fun game for entertaining or parties. This includes 4 guns and 4 vests. My daughters would have so much fun playing this with Dad. I am considering this for Father’s Day this year.
Glow in the Dark iPhone Charger. Continuing with the glow in the dark theme, a new charger is always a great gift and they make tons that have a soft glow. I think this would be fun and different and a great stocking stuffer.
Bumper Car. These look really fun- sit in your little car and zoom around. Great active play for rainy days with flashing lights, a bumper that protects furniture or walls and a seatbelt to keep children secure.
Nike 270 Air Max. These are super popular shoes and come in several colors. I know tons of kids have these on lists this year so you can also check here for more colors and sizes.
