I thought I would put together a bunch of ideas and crafts and recipes that are inspired by some wonderful children’s books. I love book inspired projects because I think it really brings stories to life.
My goal with reading for my girls is that books spark their imagination and opens doors to new worlds and ideas. My hope is that they develop a love for books and choose to read as they get older just for the fun of it and not because Mom is yelling at them. 😉
So I love this type of activity that really makes reading more fun and hopefully gets the kids excited about books. Some of these activities were created with the books in mind and some of them I found and thought they made sense for specific children’s books.
Hopefully you find some that work for your little ones!
