I have a really fun giveaway and sweepstakes to tell you about from Lifetime and Project Runway.

The first thing is the awesome sweepstakes offer- Lifetime Networks is offering $1000 in a cash prize weekly PLUS one grand prize winner will score $10,000!

This is to celebrate the new season of Project Runway All Stars and to recognize all the amazing Moms out there that are also All Stars in their own right.  This runs through November 22nd and there will be (5) weekly $1000 winners.

If you want to try your shot at the sweepstakes you can head over to Lifetime Moms to enter.

And Lifetime was very generous to provide over $350.00 in prizes to 5 lucky My Frugal Adventures readers!

To enter is incredibly simple and here are the prizes you can win:

1. Grand Prize: $300 Vera Bradley gift pack including a Weekender overnight bag, luggage tag and a gift card!  I have the Weekender myself and it is an awesome bag.  You will also get a copy of the Project Runaway new hardcover book.

2. Second Prize: $50 American Express gift card to use where ever you want!  Use this to do grocery shopping or Christmas shopping- whatever you might need.  And the second prize winner also gets a copy of the Project Runway book.

3. Three more winners will get a copy of the Project Runway book.  I love Project Runway (“Make it Work!”) so this looks great to me or you might pass it along as a gift this holiday season.

1. Mandatory: Just watch the very quick little video here and leave a comment below.  What would you do with $10,000?  Do you agree with any of the ladies in the video or have your own ideas?  I can tell you I would put that $10,000 to good use.  We need a new garage door and I would love to get new flooring throughout the house.

    Oh if I won $10,000 I’m sure my husband would suggest paying of bills! BUT my kids are the perfect age right now for Disney World so I would be doing that first! Then probably take $1,000 and go do a little shopping. Then he can have the other $5,000 for bills!

    I forgot to relate to the ladies in the video! oops! But a little shopping I will do not blow it all in one place though, I will however have to look up these Chloe bags or whatever that woman is talking about though!

    My eldest child goes to college in ’13. $10K would allow him to attend the college of his dreams! 🙂

    If I won the money, I would invest in our local school. I would purchase the Accelerated Reading program for our elementary school. They do not have it and I feel it is so beneficial for children to learn and enjoy reading early.

    I would probably use some of the money to level out our back yard so we could put a swing set out for the kiddos and maybe use a bit to redo the floors in our basement. I really admire the ladies on the video that would donate the money.

    I would put the money towards my student loan debt which is a huge burden for me and my family!

    I’d fix the fence around my yard so my dog won’t get out anymore. I liked seeing the people in the background of times square in the video.

    I would pay off some loan, go on a bit of a shopping spree and then probably save most it!

    I love the women who would donate the money. I would donate a portion of the money and apply the rest towards a down payment on our first home.

    I would buy one really expensive wardrobe staple, and put the rest towards college for the kids.

    Like a few of the ladies in the video, I would probably use the money to go on a nice vacation with my family. I would also try to pay down some debt and hopefully have enough leftover to put away for savings.

    My student debt, that is one we still have pending apart from home mortgage. 10k is the exact amount needed to pay off. How nice will that be? 🙂

    I need a new fence and new flooring in my house. As to how I would spend the money, I’d take my family to Disneyland and pay the rest on debt. Or . . .

    I would probably use the money to pay our $6500 health insurance deductible because I am pregnant with my 4th child. The rest would probably go to bills and maybe a trip with our 4 year old 🙂
