I have a really fun giveaway and sweepstakes to tell you about from Lifetime and Project Runway.
The first thing is the awesome sweepstakes offer- Lifetime Networks is offering $1000 in a cash prize weekly PLUS one grand prize winner will score $10,000!
This is to celebrate the new season of Project Runway All Stars and to recognize all the amazing Moms out there that are also All Stars in their own right. This runs through November 22nd and there will be (5) weekly $1000 winners.
If you want to try your shot at the sweepstakes you can head over to Lifetime Moms to enter.

And Lifetime was very generous to provide over $350.00 in prizes to 5 lucky My Frugal Adventures readers!
To enter is incredibly simple and here are the prizes you can win:
1. Grand Prize: $300 Vera Bradley gift pack including a Weekender overnight bag, luggage tag and a gift card! I have the Weekender myself and it is an awesome bag. You will also get a copy of the Project Runaway new hardcover book.
2. Second Prize: $50 American Express gift card to use where ever you want! Use this to do grocery shopping or Christmas shopping- whatever you might need. And the second prize winner also gets a copy of the Project Runway book.
3. Three more winners will get a copy of the Project Runway book. I love Project Runway (“Make it Work!”) so this looks great to me or you might pass it along as a gift this holiday season.

To enter:
1. Mandatory: Just watch the very quick little video here and leave a comment below. What would you do with $10,000? Do you agree with any of the ladies in the video or have your own ideas? I can tell you I would put that $10,000 to good use. We need a new garage door and I would love to get new flooring throughout the house.
2. For a bonus entry: check the box letting me know if you are a fan of My Frugal Adventures on Facebook, subscribe to MFA via email, if you are a follower over on Pinterest or I just joined Google + so follow me over there instead. (One or the other is fine, no need to do both!) Make sure to leave a second comment to get your bonus entry!
This giveaway ends on Friday, November 9th at 4pm PST. GOOD LUCK!
*Please be sure to actually use the form (just click through to the blog if you are viewing in a reader or newsletter.). Any emails, Facebook messages or tweets will not be counted.

I would use it to get a new deck on our house. It’s in need, badly. We’re also in the process of refinishing our basement. The women in the video mentioned paying off debt a lot. We don’t have any… but I would be able to pay down some of our mortgage!
I follow you through emails and fb as well.
Like we teach our kids: 10% to savings, 10% to charity. Then I’d take our family on a vacation. And maybe spend just a little on some home projects like new carpet in the basement and some new bedroom linens:)
I ‘like’ MFA on facebook.
I watched the video and liked that one woman would donate some money to fostercare. I agree and I would donate some to a charity. the rest I would use to pay for some medical bills not covered by insurance.

First, I have to say that video was pretty funny. I love the woman who said she would give half of it to her family and with the other half build an animal shelter in her house – LOL!
If I won 10K, I would put half in savings and use the other half for a fancy vacation in the warm sun and sand complete with umbrella drinks. 🙂
I subscribe to MFA via email…two years and counting!

I think I’d pay off some mortgage debt and maybe get rid of our old carpet. I like the charity idea, so I think letting each person in the family pick their favorite charity to donate some to would be nice.
