Well I knew that some of you would have trouble getting the Sunday paper last weekend courtesy of Hurricane Irene so I went ahead and grabbed a bunch. There were really good coupons- including that Procter and Gamble insert with Febreze, Cascade, Oral B coupons and the RedPlum with the Arrowhead water and M&Ms coupons.

I just started trying to do more purposeful couponing a couple of weeks ago and I was so mad I couldn’t get the coupons last weekend! Hurricane Irene wasn’t too bad for us, just a flooded basement (which the fire department was kind enough to pump out the same day), but our newspaper service was suspended for the day. They offered the paper online, but that didn’t help with coupons. Then they sent the Sunday paper on Monday, but no coupons again. I even went to my local grocery and gas stations but they were all out. VERY frustrating!

I live in CT. We were hit with very strong wind and rain. We were all without power. I was so upset that our stores were closed and I could not get the coupons. My daughter who gets coupons will be without power for two weeks. There were some great coupons in Sunday’s paper. Be blessed as you share!

I live in NYC. My neighborhood was hardly touched. I saw a couple of trees down, but no flooding or down wires. We got very lucky. Others didn’t.
