Well I knew that some of you would have trouble getting the Sunday paper last weekend courtesy of Hurricane Irene so I went ahead and grabbed a bunch. There were really good coupons- including that Procter and Gamble insert with Febreze, Cascade, Oral B coupons and the RedPlum with the Arrowhead water and M&Ms coupons.

I wasn’t affected by the hurricane, but I was by inept paper delivery guy. My paper didn’t make it, they forgot me (new subscription). Delivered me a left over paper mon w/o any coupons cause they ran out!!

I live at the NJ shore. I have a condo right on the beach. No damage except some snow fencing on the beach that was washed away. Now friends on the bay side didn’t fare as well (12″ water in the house)and I have friends in north Jersey who still don’t have power. I really need to help them re-stock their frozen foods.

I live in CT and we got LOTS of rain and wind and school was closed on Monday (I am a teacher) and some area schools are still closed. The biggest effect I am feeling is that my son’s daycare was flooded and they will be closed for AT LEAST a week!

Hello! I watch your blog everyday. I love it. I actually live in Houston, Texas but was traveling to visit my boyfriend and parents who live in Baltimore, MD. They were only allowing flight changes for Saturday – Monday and I was flying in Friday. We had a ton of rain and extremely high winds…. and we had a roof leak! 🙁 We were lucky there wasn’t that much flooding though. Thanks and keep up the great work on your blog!

I wasn’t in the hurricane, but miraculously, my entire paper was stolen…can’t stand people who can’t afford their own things yet rely on those of us who do to supply it for them!
The coupon theft is really becoming a problem. Our Wlagreens now keeps them behind the counter. Sad!!!
I’m a nor-cal girl, but I was in DC during the hurricane. Let’s just say I got a little wet while sight-seeing. Also, they closed the Smithsonians early! Poo!
