Well I knew that some of you would have trouble getting the Sunday paper last weekend courtesy of Hurricane Irene so I went ahead and grabbed a bunch. There were really good coupons- including that Procter and Gamble insert with Febreze, Cascade, Oral B coupons and the RedPlum with the Arrowhead water and M&Ms coupons.

For some reason someone snatched the SmartSource inserts out of a few of my papers so (5) of you will win a packet of 4 coupon inserts including 8/28 RP, 8/28 P&G and either 8/28 or 8/21 SS.

    We made it safely with very little effects from Irene even though I’m located about 20 mins from Virginia Beach, VA.

    I’m in VA and we had alot of rain and strong wind but luckily we had no damage! We did lose power to 2 days which is nothing compared to the people who are STILL without power! My heart goes out to them, it’s hot here!!!!

    We were very lucky…our sump pump didn’t work, but I was able to find one at the Home Depot before too much damage in my basement! The biggest impact though is that my husband is a lineman so until all customers have power, my boys (ages 4, 3, and 1) and I will not see him! 🙁

    My sister-in-law had a foot of water in her basement & we spent most of Monday cleaning it up.

    The Jersey Shore escaped narrowly with some flooding and lots of leaves and branches on the ground. Papers did go missing though…

    I personally was not affected but everytime the weather comes on my three year old twins ask if the bad weather is coming here. My prayers for all those on the east coast.

    We were without power for 3 days! Luckily we have a gas stove so we could cook instant noodle and hot water for quick baths.

    NY- Just got our power back today, lots of trees down & flooding but everyone was safe!

    I’m in VA and we had a nice rainy day from the hurricane… winds 20-30 mph. An hour west of us, they got no rain at all, so we were just on the fringe. An hour east of us, though, it was pretty bad.
