{CLOSED} Giveaway: 5 Loaded Coupon Binders

07/04/2011 By Charlene

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

I can’t even begin to tell you how long I have spent on this project.  I don’t actually use a coupon binder myself but I know I am in the minority on that and lots of you consider your binders part of the family.

When you are new to couponing, one of the big hurdles to overcome is simply getting everything sorted out and organized.  So hopefully I can help!  I spent a long time doing research and testing products and hopefully I have come up with a pretty decent custom coupon binder.

And I have 5 of them ready to go as a giveaway for five of you guys and I hope you like what I have pulled together!  These binders are fully organized and even include a few complete coupon inserts so you are off to the races!

If you would like to win one custom binder filled with everything I think you need to get started using coupons (or move yourself up to the next level of using coupons) you have a few chances to win:

1. Just leave a comment below letting me know what system you use to organize your coupons.  Do you have them in a nice binder already, an accordian file, envelopes, all crumbled up in the bottom of your purse?    I was actually the latter of those selections until this weekend when I finally got through about a zillion coupons and now they are nicely organized.   (whoot whoot!)

2. FOR A BONUS ENTRY:  Just like My Frugal Adventures on Facebook. Easy peasy.   Make sure to leave a SECOND comment letting me know we are friends!

AND IF YOU REALLY WANT TO WIN:

You can share this giveaway on your Facebook wall.  I have extra binders all set to go and if one of your friends likes My Frugal Adventures and wins the giveaway, you get a binder just for referring them!

To share this on your wall just look for the little blue f in a square at the bottom of this post.  It looks like this:

Click that and this giveaway will post to your wall!

So good luck!  I will pick a winner on Thursday at 7pm PST.

*Note: I know there are lots of male readers these days which is just awesome.  So not to worry I have a choice of two colors in the binder for each winner.  So you guys won’t be hauling around a bright pink binder unless you decide that’s the one you want.

Please be sure to leave a comment by clicking below.  Any comments on Facebook, twitter or via email will not count!

I use a large binder to store coupons and a photo book to carry a small selection with me.

I use a small plastic accordian file organizer that fits perfectly in my purse- that way I have it on me at all times! It keeps my coupons very organized and easily accesible.
I’ve always wanted to try the binder organizers too, as I know these work pretty well, from what I hear.

Hello, I file all my coupons by date. Therefore, your website is integral to my planning so I don’t have to take the entire file cabinet with me to the stores:-)

I just bought one of the $1 binders at staples and am working on organizing my coupons. Right now I use a small make up bag to put them in.

I started with the accordion coupon filer and started forgetting where I put coupons and would be a complete mess when it was time to check out. I saw everyone recommended binders, so I tried to make my own. It’s a 1 inch binder with baseball card sleeves in it. It is an improvement, but I still manage to lose coupons by not remembering where they are or the expiration date crept up on me too quickly. My mom wanted one, so I made her one for her birthday (July 3rd) with sleeves and some coupons to get started. She was thrilled. She’s the reason I started couponing. I remember growing up and the garage was similar to a mini mart. =) She was always over stocked on the essentials because of her couponing skills. She got out of it after my brother and I moved out, but she misses it. So now we have a hobby together!! I would love to share one of your binders with her!! She would love it!!

Wow! Did I go off on a tangent or what?!

Thank you again, for all you do!!! You really are an amazing help and a wonderful person to share your findings with so many people! =)

Right now I clip coupons as I need them. I use to own a binder but with a toddler and a newborn that method went out the window. Some times I can’t even get the Sunday paper YIKES! I know I’ve been neglecting my coupons but I need a push since we’re running low on wipes and diapers again, paying full price for a small pack of diapers is ridiculous! I would like you on Facebook but I think I’m the only one alive that doesnt have one.

my coupons are currently all over vthe place! i have some in the car ,some on the dresser, some on the coffee table and a bunch in my purse! Did I mention the ones in my crochet bag? Need a central location for them that is organized and portable.

I use an accordion file for my coupons now, but after some research, I think I would like to change to a binder so winning this would be great!

I use a binder with baseball card sheets… but since I am a new couponer, it’s a totally disorganized mess! I have tabs for sections but pretty much my sections stink. lol

  18. Christine says

    07/05/2011 at 12:56 PM

My coupons are organized chaos. I have a binder, a little accordion book and I use a laptop bag to hold everything. I’m new to the coupon thing and I haven’t really perfected a system yet.

I started couponing about 2 months ago, seriously. before I had always cut them out and took like 5 each week to the store with me. I did get a binder with plastic inserts to organize them but I do struggle, keeping them organized and figuring out the best solution for me! 🙂

  25. Donya says

    07/05/2011 at 1:14 PM

I have a binder, an accordian file, and loose coupons flying around all over the place. (They frequently fall out of my truck when I open the door and blow around the parking lot-always a nice way to start a shopping trip)!
My attempts at organization never seem to come together and stay put.
    Thanks for all you do!

I just started couponing and Im finding organizing to be the hardest part! Right now I’m keeping my coupons in a binder by stapling them to pieces of white paper with the staple “backwards” so it’s easy to remove coupons!!

I use a coupon binder and file folders. I clip what I know we will use, and then I leave the other inserts filed by date. It works pretty well. I am already on my second binder, and it is broken!! I am flying through them! I would love to win a new one!

  31. Linda says

    07/05/2011 at 1:30 PM

I’m new to the couponing world, so as of right now, I arrange them by expiration date and use binder clips to clip them together. So far it’s going ok, but I’m still working on my system!

  32. Kristina says

    07/05/2011 at 1:30 PM

I use combo clip-less and binder method.

My binder is for printable coupons, ones that I clip and dont use for some reason, or coupons I get from the store, in packages, freebies, etc.

I keep all of my inserts in a large accordian file by week. Each insert SS vs. RP vs. P&G is kept in a sheet protector with a list of what coupons are in the inserts. Before I go shopping or whenver I need one, I look at my list and clip just what I need. Super Organized.

I have a nice accordian bag with sections divided by categories. The bag is decent size but I am starting to grow out of it and am looking for an alternative. The binder system might be my solution…

  37. Jenna Ecklund says

    07/05/2011 at 1:37 PM

I just started using coupons this spring. I have a stack of envelopes with different categories so far. However, I also have a ziplock bag full of coupons that have expired in that past 3 months that I can use at Cub Foods, but they’re such a big mess it’s hard to find what I’m looking for or even remember what I have. Pick me 🙂

  38. Gina says

I currently don’t have an organized way to keep my coupons and have been very overwhelmed and stressed. this would be such a great prize and would finally be the step I need to really start saving my family some money.
    thanks!!

I use an accordion file, but it’s getting a bit worn since my son likes to pull on the strap while we’re grocery shopping. I would love to try out the binder system.

I use a small coupon organizer in my purse for the everyday regular products I buy. Then I date the inserts and keep them in a file box by name and date. Then I match up the inserts to blogs for the items I normally won’t purhcase unless they are free or really cheap.

I have a small accordian file for the cut q’s that i know im going to use and then this big purse thing that has slots for divided folders that i use for uncut stuff. and its all starting to overflow!
