I can’t even begin to tell you how long I have spent on this project. I don’t actually use a coupon binder myself but I know I am in the minority on that and lots of you consider your binders part of the family.
When you are new to couponing, one of the big hurdles to overcome is simply getting everything sorted out and organized. So hopefully I can help! I spent a long time doing research and testing products and hopefully I have come up with a pretty decent custom coupon binder.
And I have 5 of them ready to go as a giveaway for five of you guys and I hope you like what I have pulled together! These binders are fully organized and even include a few complete coupon inserts so you are off to the races!
If you would like to win one custom binder filled with everything I think you need to get started using coupons (or move yourself up to the next level of using coupons) you have a few chances to win:
1. Just leave a comment below letting me know what system you use to organize your coupons. Do you have them in a nice binder already, an accordian file, envelopes, all crumbled up in the bottom of your purse? I was actually the latter of those selections until this weekend when I finally got through about a zillion coupons and now they are nicely organized. (whoot whoot!)
2. FOR A BONUS ENTRY: Just like My Frugal Adventures on Facebook. Easy peasy. Make sure to leave a SECOND comment letting me know we are friends!
AND IF YOU REALLY WANT TO WIN:
You can share this giveaway on your Facebook wall. I have extra binders all set to go and if one of your friends likes My Frugal Adventures and wins the giveaway, you get a binder just for referring them!
To share this on your wall just look for the little blue f in a square at the bottom of this post. It looks like this:
Click that and this giveaway will post to your wall!
So good luck! I will pick a winner on Thursday at 7pm PST.
*Note: I know there are lots of male readers these days which is just awesome. So not to worry I have a choice of two colors in the binder for each winner. So you guys won’t be hauling around a bright pink binder unless you decide that’s the one you want.
Please be sure to leave a comment by clicking below. Any comments on Facebook, twitter or via email will not count!

I use a couple different according style organizers, one small, one a little larger that is zippered. I’ve never been completely happy with how they are organized – it’s an ongoing project!
I have a mini accordian file folder.
I currently use a tiny little acordian file that is quickly getting out grown. I would love to start fresh with one of these binders!
I’ve been using a binder which is so much easier but I used to have a small accordion file that was such a hassle! I just started seriously couponing about 3 months ago out of necessity because I lost my job. I really appreciate your posts and deal ideas it’s helped me learn how to do this a lot faster than on my own!
We’re friends on FB.
I used an envelope system, but I am not sure if it is really working for me. Maybe a binder would be better because you could see the coupons you have.
I have three accordian files. I’m thinking of switching to binders though.
Love your site! I use the binder method currently and LOVE it!
I use a binder for most of my coupons and then a small accordion file for when I go in the store.
I follow you on FB!
Do not currently use a binder but would love to win the giveaway and start!
I currently just keep my coupons in an envelope in my purse…
I use 2 accordion files (one for food and one for everything else).
I currently use an accordion file (2 actually), one for baby products only (twins due in 23 days), and one for all other coupons.
I use a binder, both having clipped coupons in plastic dividers (in back), and whole inserts in the front section. My 2″ binder has broken the zipper! I am ISO a new one. 🙂 I need to get more organized… People walk by in the stores and say Wow you look organized, I say “look” is the key word. ~SMILE~
I like you on FB as Lynn B.
I’m your friend facebook!
I’m a facebook friend!!
I am trying to put together a binder…but alas, I picked up business card holder inserts, which do not work out well. So, most of the coupons are stuffed inside the binder pockets themselves!
Crumbled up in the junk drawer!
I’m a FB friend!

I use an accordian file and envelopes.
I use 2 small accordian coupon folders with specific coupons that I carry with me always. I have a big file box that I keep my inserts in at home by date. I need a better system as I am always losing or forgetting to use my Qs.
I like MFA on facebook.
I have them all labeled by date, then thrown into an old diaper box 🙁 Not really working so well!!
I use envelopes in the stores and a binder at home.
I like you on facebook!!
I’m new to couponing, so right now my system is just clipping coupons and stacking them with the shopping list.
I use the envelope method but have I have several envelopes for different stores (Target, Rite Aid) and also have separate envelopes for grocery, household, and personal care all in a gallon ziploc bag thrown in a canvas bag with millions of other coupons that I haven’t clipped and random other things. I’ve been meaning to switch to a more organized coupon binder but haven’t gotten around to it….
I like you on Facebook and also follow you by email.
(FYI- in case my other post did not work (having internet issues) I use envelopes and am attempting binder.)
I’m already a fan on MFA on facebook and get your emails.
I try to keep the coupons organized in binders, but often new clipped coupons end up on the bottom of my bag instead of the binder.
I currently use an accordian divider, and separate envelopes for the drug stores that I frequent. I saw a woman using the binder system at the store the other day and chatted with her for a few minutes and she has sold me on trying out the binder system, I would love to have one already started!
I use the accordian file…might switch to the binder soon!

I keep whole inserts and cut coupons I need efore going to the store.
I use a binder with baseball card sheets (clear for manuf. & different colored for different stores i.e. Target, the grocery store, etc.) to keep specific coupons in each section. I have dividers for the different sections and if I have more than one of a coupon, I put the closed experation date on top.

I also have a photo holder that I got at Hobby Lobby for like $3 that I keep coupons that I use all the time in it in my purse if I’m just out running around. It is for like diapers, fast food coupons, things like that.

I currently use a giant 5 inch binder and a clip less method of organization. For the most part its fairly easy with my hectic schedule.
I like MFA on FB
My coupons are basically tossed into my purse with a paperclip around them. I have one main stack and then I pull the ones I plan to use that week and put them into a separate paper clip. It is far from ideal, but I have no time to organize better with a new baby! I would LOVE one of your binders to get me off on the right track!
We are now friends on Facebook!
I use a large and small accordian binder.
I use envelopes marked with the date and write what’s inside with the exp date… but it is a lot to carry around!!
THANK you for your time & advice/resourses. My family & I OWE you so much! You are my FAV reference 😉
I use envelopes for now and we are friends on facebook.
I use the binder method and a small file for planned coupon trips to organize. It’s the best method but I still need to update and finish my binder. Thanks Charlene!
I use a little box and throw all my coupons in there, so before I leave to shop, I’ll look over any coupons I saved. I also put my extra special coupons in my wallet. lol. I like the folder idea much better!
