{CLOSED} Giveaway: 5 Loaded Coupon Binders

07/04/2011 By Charlene

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

I can’t even begin to tell you how long I have spent on this project.  I don’t actually use a coupon binder myself but I know I am in the minority on that and lots of you consider your binders part of the family.

When you are new to couponing, one of the big hurdles to overcome is simply getting everything sorted out and organized.  So hopefully I can help!  I spent a long time doing research and testing products and hopefully I have come up with a pretty decent custom coupon binder.

And I have 5 of them ready to go as a giveaway for five of you guys and I hope you like what I have pulled together!  These binders are fully organized and even include a few complete coupon inserts so you are off to the races!

If you would like to win one custom binder filled with everything I think you need to get started using coupons (or move yourself up to the next level of using coupons) you have a few chances to win:

1. Just leave a comment below letting me know what system you use to organize your coupons.  Do you have them in a nice binder already, an accordian file, envelopes, all crumbled up in the bottom of your purse?    I was actually the latter of those selections until this weekend when I finally got through about a zillion coupons and now they are nicely organized.   (whoot whoot!)

2. FOR A BONUS ENTRY:  Just like My Frugal Adventures on Facebook. Easy peasy.   Make sure to leave a SECOND comment letting me know we are friends!

AND IF YOU REALLY WANT TO WIN:

You can share this giveaway on your Facebook wall.  I have extra binders all set to go and if one of your friends likes My Frugal Adventures and wins the giveaway, you get a binder just for referring them!

To share this on your wall just look for the little blue f in a square at the bottom of this post.  It looks like this:

Click that and this giveaway will post to your wall!

So good luck!  I will pick a winner on Thursday at 7pm PST.

*Note: I know there are lots of male readers these days which is just awesome.  So not to worry I have a choice of two colors in the binder for each winner.  So you guys won’t be hauling around a bright pink binder unless you decide that’s the one you want.

Please be sure to leave a comment by clicking below.  Any comments on Facebook, twitter or via email will not count!

I carry my coupons in a paper envelope that sometimes gets really tattered after being pulled in/out of my purse a zillion times before I find the time to replace the envelope with a “new” one that’s recycled from my mail. A coupon binder would be a luxury for me! Thanks for offering this giveaway – it sounds like the coupons would be good ones, too!

I use the binder method, but I am just getting started. I still feel like a newbie to all this.

I used to use a small coupon organizer that was spiral bound. These days the coupons are normally floating somewhere in my purse or wallet….or back pocket of my jeans! I have lost many a good coupon because of my disorganization!

I have just recently had a renewed interest in coupon collecting because our income will be decreasing drastically! Right now, the few coupons I have collected are on my kitchen counter.

Right now I have my coupons in an old index card file box, but may need to move to a binder soon. This would be perfect! Thanks so much for the giveaway!

I am 59 years old and still don’t have an organization pattern that doesn’t drive me nuts. I currently use a legal sized envelope held together with a binder clip.

I made a coupon holder with a sturdier 3×5 type size plastic file holder. I put my own label categories like Dairy and Snacks. Each area also has a divider with sub-categories and almost all coupons are in separate individual 3-5/8 x 6-1/2 IN standard envelopes marked on flap side in bright marker ink pens what’s inside. I found this system has worked for me as I can see, take out, and put back each envelope that fits in the slots perfectly. Before I did this all my coupons would fall out if I dropped my holder and it was hard to look through so many all bunched up together.

I’m just starting to coupon, so I don’t really have a system yet, but I would LOVE a binder to help me get started!

Just started couponing and the organizing of the coupons in a system that will help me has been a bit intense. I don’t have any clue what I am doing but you’ve got to start somewhere right? Anyway thanks Amy Kland Nielsen for tipping me off about this I could really use the help. HELP!

  22. Elizabeth says

    07/04/2011 at 10:00 PM

There is no such thing as organization when it comes to my coupons and I usually tend to lose the really good ones. I wish I could be more organized. 🙁

I used to have a small accordian file but could never find what I wanted… I have tried to upgrade to a notebook but that doesn’t seem to be going too well. Please help out an organizationally challenged lady!

I am brand new to coupons, (about 1 month in) so I was very overwhelmed when I accumulated a full box! I went to the 99 cent store and got 3 small photo albums with clear, lightly colored/see through covers. Because there are a lot of little insert pages, I was able to slip a plain piece of paper in between each insert to mark the sections: Beauty, “Man Beauty” (lol), grocery, feminine, etc. I then brought a medium pencil case with a zip to put the mini binders in. Its SUPER easy to organize! And now I can see when I have a surplus of coupons so that I may give them to co-workers and family! I <3 couponing!
<3 the yung buck,0o0o0o23oo0oo0o Rosa Sparks couponer!

  32. Denise says

I have all my inserts in a two-ringed binder – one side for SS and another for RP. I keep P&G separate and some times throw it in my purse if I will have time to peruse the clearance sections at Target. My printables are filed by type.

  33. Laura Williams says

    07/04/2011 at 10:14 PM

I used to do a big accordion file, but recently I switched over to a smaller purse size check file that I like better. I found I was constantly leaving the other one at home because it was too big.

  34. Zua says

    07/04/2011 at 10:17 PM

I have my inserts in a binder with the clear protective covering just to keep them together. As for loose coupons, I keep them on the pocket to the side, unorganized (I’m still working on it XD ).

My about-to-expire coupons are kept in a coupon organizer and I pull them out when I figure if I will need it.

My expired coupons are kept in an envelope, ready to be shipped off to the military families who are in need of it. 😀
