UPDATE: It looks like this is randomly printing for people on a variety of products. So you may get lucky or you may not. It is certainly worth keeping an eye on the catalina machine just in case!

Christine: I don’t think that its any transaction – I did 4 sep ones today at Walgreens and only got that cat on the transactions that I did with Children’s Oscillococcinum . . . . . oh well, its Walgreen’s after all 🙂

my hubby purchased 2 gallons of milk on saturday, and got the same q. from what i’ve been reading i can’t make heads or tails of what exactly causes it to print. maybe just any purchase you make.
I used the January Wag’s Q for the Oscillococcinum at $7 and the $2 Manf Q! Big MM! Plus the FREE Breathe Right Q printed! Awesome deal.
My store did not have the Vick’s Sinex Dayquil/Nyquil priced at $4, but they did have it as part of the RR. Sad, cause we ALL have the bug that is going around.

hmmm. guess hubby just got it by a fluke then. oh well, not complaining, free is nice, and will be good to have for a cold like charlene says. still bummed that the $5 ivc q wasn’t for the children’s med. oh well, still looking like a great week ahead. i got in on the capri sun over on the safeway post. that was awesome. my girls have been wanting some juice (i know not the best kind, but for $0.49 i’ll buy), but i only buy on a good sale now. it’s been good because now my girls are drinking alot more water. thanks for all the great deals charlene, you are awesome, and i’m looking forward to the health conscious coupon buys you mentioned. hubby likes that too.
I bought my son a little Christmas ornament and got the Breathe Right cat. I was surprised!
I got it at Kroger, not sure what I bought that triggered it!
All I bought was two aluminum foils and one wax paper (.89 each), paid with a 2.00 RR from last week and got TWO of the free Breathe Right strip coupons!!
I have used that brand’s coupons a few times before and they ALWAYS beep
I did two separate transactions for the oscillococcinum and both printed out the Free Breathe Right @ WAGS.
I went to do the oscilillium with the $2.00 coupon and had the manager arguing with me that you cannot use a man.Q with an item that generates a RR. WHAT?! I called the 800# and go the same answer. Is this written anywhere in their policy?

I think some stores seem to have been able to figure out how to make the RR not print if coupons are used. I have no idea how and it is for sure not a corporate thing. I have used coupons more times that I could ever possibly count and the only time I have ever had issues is when the catalina machine needs paper or servicing.
One thing you can do is call catalina marketing and see if they will mail you the RR that did not print. If they will not, you just have to adapt to the policy your store has.
