I have pulled together several giveaways in honor of a big event around here. It is the second birthday of My Frugal Adventures! It seems like MFA has been part of our lives forever- and as my husband refers to it (affectionately and sometimes not so affectionately) is our third child.
So no birthday is complete without presents of course so I wanted to kick off our little birthday party with an awesome giveaway courtesy of Home Depot!
Home Depot is launching a Renew and Redo sale at stores nationwide. They are offering big discounts on products for the bathroom as well as in store experts and online tools to help you find the perfect products to complete your project. The sale runs from 1/20-2/23 and features deep discounts on all sorts of items.
As some of you might know, we have been in the midst of never ending home renovation projects. We originally intended to spruce up the kitchen a little. Well we wound up with serious water damage in the kitchen, master bathroom and the kid’s bathroom that resulted in gutting all three rooms. I am very happy to say that our final project (the master bath) just had the shower doors installed today and we have finally finished all three projects! Needless to say, Home Depot has been a second home to us for the past several months!
Now that we have 2 gorgeous new bathrooms it makes our guest bathroom even more of an eyesore. The original owners of our house made very… shall we say taste specific- choices for the house. (Including lots of brass fixtures and oak cabinets!) So our tiny guest bath is truly horrific with laminate wood floors, brass fixtures and gray marble. It is really something else.
We are certainly not in the mood for another full scale renovation, but we decided to see how much we could do on a very small budget.
So here is a little peek at the current state of the guest bath. The room is dark and depressing and is sadly the only bathroom on the main floor of the house. So it needs serious help for sure. I am super excited to start shopping at Home Depot and see what we can do to fix up this bathroom on a tight budget.
We already started looking around last weekend and we found vanities starting at $99!
I am very happy to say that Home Depot has provided me with one $100 gift card to pass along to a lucky reader to help you get started on a little makeover of your own!
This giveaway will run through Sunday 30th and you have two chances to win.

I would love a new toilet that doesn’t spray water every time the kids flush it! Happy 2nd birthday mfa! Hope your renovations are done soon!
I would like to put some extra shelving and towel bars in our bathroom and defimately a new shower head.
We desperately need (and want 😉 to tile our shower. We spent the last year working on our bathroom remodel & now that it looks great! we cringe when we see the old school shower that we didn’t get to. The people who owned this house before us just seemed to be the “this will do for now” sort 😉 Lucky for me (meh) hah. So we would totally use this to match the great new tile my dear hubby & father-in-law slaved over a few months back!
Really could use a new toilet. Actually need to totally renovate our bathroom.
We’d buy a medicine cabinet and new faucets for our freshly painted bathroom.

P.S I like you on Facebook 🙂
Where do I begin…seriously. Rip out carpets that are in BATHROOM in master and put in TILE. Take out old 13 year old bathroom lights and replace with modern light fixtures. Get new toilet in master bathroom. Extend tile in toilet room. Change out plastic/vinyl blindes for wood blinds.

I would definitely replace the light fixtures in our bathrooms! I hate the ‘hollywood’ lights that came in the ‘standard light package’ when we bought our home.
This gift would actual go to my parents who are kind enough to let me move home and go to college. I have graduated and have been 8 months into trying to find a job. One blessing of not working, has been having time to help my dad who had a minor stroke one year ago as of Jan. 25. Would love to get some permanent safety rail for the bath/shower and anything else that my parents would want. This would be a wonderful small way to say thank to them and how much I love them. Thanks for the consideration
We need new faucets for our master bath! 🙂

The linoleum in our kids/guest bath is separating from the wall and looks awful! I really want to put tile down.
We’d love to redo our shower and counter tops. It’s time to get rid of the white tile and replace it with a solid surface counter, new sinks, faucets and pretty new tile for the shower.
What a great giveaway! We are planning on making a bed set for my daughters, do this gift cars would really help out!
My bathroom could definitely use new fixtures & lighting! 🙂
I would love to get trim or new light fixtures. We have those ginormous bulbs and it would be nice to have something a little more subtle. 🙂

We would like to replace the sheet rock with green board behind our shower to eliminate mold and mildew. Also a new medicine cabinet and a freestanding cabinet to put all our towels and products in! LOTS to do!
We purchased our house 7 years ago and it was pretty rough. We’ve done all the renovations to the house ourselves to try and save money. It always seems like a never ending project! 🙂
I am also on your FB page.
Where do I start! we need a whole new kitchen
I would love to buy something to help organize my bathroom stockpile.
New toilet seat, new towel bars, and whatever it is we need to get the bathroom door to latch closed (we’ve had unsuspecting guests, using the bathroom, raided by our kids when the guest thought the bathroom door was locked…oops!).
I like you on facebook! And now that I actually read what my comment is supposed to be, I’d buy a cool light fixture for our bathroom; I like the girly chandelier idea! 🙂
