I have pulled together several giveaways in honor of a big event around here. It is the second birthday of My Frugal Adventures! It seems like MFA has been part of our lives forever- and as my husband refers to it (affectionately and sometimes not so affectionately) is our third child.
So no birthday is complete without presents of course so I wanted to kick off our little birthday party with an awesome giveaway courtesy of Home Depot!

The sale runs from 1/20-2/23 and features deep discounts on all sorts of items.
As some of you might know, we have been in the midst of never ending home renovation projects. We originally intended to spruce up the kitchen a little. Well we wound up with serious water damage in the kitchen, master bathroom and the kid’s bathroom that resulted in gutting all three rooms. I am very happy to say that our final project (the master bath) just had the shower doors installed today and we have finally finished all three projects! Needless to say, Home Depot has been a second home to us for the past several months!
Now that we have 2 gorgeous new bathrooms it makes our guest bathroom even more of an eyesore. The original owners of our house made very… shall we say taste specific- choices for the house. (Including lots of brass fixtures and oak cabinets!) So our tiny guest bath is truly horrific with laminate wood floors, brass fixtures and gray marble. It is really something else.
We are certainly not in the mood for another full scale renovation, but we decided to see how much we could do on a very small budget.
So here is a little peek at the current state of the guest bath. The room is dark and depressing and is sadly the only bathroom on the main floor of the house. So it needs serious help for sure. I am super excited to start shopping at Home Depot and see what we can do to fix up this bathroom on a tight budget.
We already started looking around last weekend and we found vanities starting at $99!

I would like to get some wainscoating to install on my bathroom walls.
I need a new bathtub so bad!! I have to make my 3 year old take a shower with me or his dad because our bathtub is so gross!! We redid it with the spray and it was all good for about a year and then it started peeling off and now looks so gross!!
I would start with new hardware. I get so tired of cleaning water spots off the bright chrome faucet and water handles at the sink…I want a nice dark finish for the sink and shower.

100 bucks at home depot would be awesome!!! Our bathroom (both of them) need the faucets replaced in the showers. The shower doesn’t work well- its 12 years old! In our main bathroom, the shower doesn’t even work. We have a bucket under the faucet to take a bath. It works out and we are thankful to have what we have but a new shower would be wonderful! 🙂
WoooHooo!!!! This would be sooo awesome we redid most of our bathroom a couple years ago but we have a couple details we did not finish! we would buy the new trim we never got! as well as a new medicine cabinet, and exhaust fan!!!!!

I would love an entire bathroom makeover, but for now I’d update our light fixture and buy a wall cabinet for over the toilet. (I need more storage for all of the wonderful health & beauty deals.)

I would replace the toilet in our master bathroom because it plugs almost daily and wobbles horribly. With 5 children we have to use both bathrooms and it is really gross to have to plunge it and disinfect it and the floor on a daily basis because it has plugged up again. I would use the $100 Home Depot gift card to get a replacement dremel attachment so I can expand my jewelry business and put the rest towards some flooring and new vanities for our bathrooms. We just repainted this weekend and hope to update said vanity and floors, but alas the budget doesn’t allow for that just yet…fingers crossed 🙂
