AnnMarie says I”ve tried this coffee before at my friend’s house and it was excellent. Ever since, I have wanted this coffee maker, but something else always comes up. I love flavored coffees but my husband doesn’t. How awesome it would be to own something like this!!!!!

I recently got the chance to check out the Keurig Special Edition Brewing System and Keurig was kind enough to give a brewing system to one lucky MFA reader.

I had heard so many raves about the Keurig machines that I couldn’t wait to check it out.   I happen to love coffee.  I am one of those people that sings the Folger’s song every morning..“the best part of waking up..is coffee in my cup!” And I have had a Tassimo machine for awhile which I adore.

Now I am not going to tell you that these coffeemakers are frugal.  This Special Edition coffeemaker is currently $150 on Amazon.  You also need to buy the K-Cups which go on sale for $15 for 48 cups.

If you can fit this into your budget I have to tell you these machines just make wonderful cups of coffee.  I ran out of Tassimo disks a few weeks ago and went back to my regular old pot coffee and the difference was astounding.

For me the major advantage to the Tassimo is that you can make espresso beverages.  So I can make cappuccinos, Chai Lattes, Caramel Macchiatos etc.. in addition to regular coffee and teas.

But what I noticed about the Keurig is that it is much sleeker looking on the counter.  Also it seems to me that the Keurig K-cups are much less expensive than the Tassimo Disks.  I think for those that just love really good coffee or tea the Keurig is a great answer. One other advantage to the Keurig is that you can buy the reusable filter and grind and brew your own coffee- which might be a little less expensive.

One other thing I just love about these machines is how neat and clean they are.  I have to refill the water about once a week (more for the Tassimo) and then just pop the cartridge in and done!  For some reason actually brewing a pot of coffee always used to seem like such a massive production first thing in the morning.

    We have a Keurig machine at work and I have been wanting to get one. I am more of a hot chocolate and tea drinker and love both with this machine.

    My husband brews a few cups worth of one of the Starbucks blends in the old fashioned multicup coffee maker.

    I don’t have coffee EVERY day. When I do have it, I use a insulated french press. My SIL has a Keriug and I fell in love with it the last time we visited. I’ve even had dreams about getting one, LOL!

    I start the day with coffee perked in my percolator just like my grandmother had in her kitchen, but I tried one of these Keurig’s the other day and I was hooked! They are wonderful and I love the idea of having a chai latte or something else as a treat in the afternoon!

    I have a keurig cup every morning – I love it! Would love to surprise my sister with a Keurig – she loves to use it when she visits:) (And she is the best mom I know!)

    I just use a regular coffee machine, but I like to use flavored coffee. I also love to use flavored creamers–Coffeemate is my fave!! I’ve had coffee from a Keurig, and it’s great!!!

    I have wanted one of these coffee makers for some time. When I fix coffee, usually on weekends, I do it the old fashion way – water in pot then into maker. Next filter and coffee. BREW! Weekdays I will go on to work and buy coffee at the local coffee house.

    I love a good iced coffee in the morning. We live in Phoenix and it gets hot here. I would love a carmel mac over some ice every morning. I too love starbucks so this would be wonderful!

    I am the only coffee drinker in our household, so a Keurig would be awesome…no more dumping unused coffee down the drain. I drink decaf each day. I also like to buy Fair Trade coffee, so I have two flavors, Colombian Decaf and a Hazelnut Decaf. Whatever floats my boat that day. My Mom RAVES about her Keurig.

    My husband is a Marine and let me tell you nothing runs those men like coffee 🙂 my hubby has at least 3 brewed cups at home and at least 5 on base every day! This would make it easier at home for sure 🙂 he loves his black so we brew up a big pot

    I love coffee and creamer! Drink about 2 cups every morning and sometimes around 3:00. We generally grind out own coffee but right now we are waking up to Dunking doughnuts coffee every morning….so good! I just used a Keurig for this first time this past weekend and I’m hooked!

    I have lately taken to starting the day with a cup of french vanilla instant. Not bad, but not fresh brewed. This Keurig would be perfect!

    I would like to win this because I make my mocha every morning with a Mr. Coffee espresso machine. I have to keep an eye on it to turn it off or it will over flow and that has happened a few times. I then heat milk in the microwave and mix. Thanks!

    I would love to give this to my mother. She is 85 and the safe, easy and ultimately delicious outcome is something she would love. She loves her coffee and tells me she wakes as early as 4 am just waiting and savoring the idea of her first cup of coffee. Thank you for providing this giveaway.
