Walgreens: Nivea Deal Even Better

Well if you don’t have enough body wash, here is another deal.

Nivea Body Wash is priced at $5.99 with a $5.99 Register Reward back.  If you take the $3 coupon from 5/2 RP you have a $3 moneymaker!

Even better, reader Melody let me know that the men’s body was was actually Buy One Get One Free at her store this morning!

If you find the same deal this could be up to a $6 moneymaker!

Buy 2 at $5.99 (one will be free)
Use $3/1 coupon
Final Price: Pay $2.99 and get $5.99 back- so 2 for free

OR this is a little trickier since the second coupon will likely beep:

Buy 2 at $5.99 (one is free)
Use (2) $3/1 coupons
Final Price: Pay tax and get a $5.99 Register Reward back!
(You might grab a small filler item to cover the .01 difference.)

So let me know how it works out for you!  Hopefully these are BOGO around the country.

See the rest of this week’s Walgreens deals HERE and HERE.

Important Note!  The BOGO sale appears to only be working on the Active 3 body wash (pictured above)- thanks Becca & Dallas!

    Hi Charlene,

I was able to get B1G1 free ONLY on the Nivea Active 3 (blue label). The orange label (Sport) for Nivea Active 3 didn’t ring up B1G1 free. It took me and my cashier awhile to figure that one out. Both of these do produce the $6 RR, but only the non-sport Body Wash gave me the free bottle. I had the 2 $3 coupons so needed a filler to make up the penny difference like you stated above. But 2 Body Washes for free but a $6 RR MM …what a deal.

Ok good to know Becca- did the coupons beep or did they sail through with the filler?

The coupons didn’t beep as I had a filler for the extra penny. We didn’t try it without the filler, but usually at Walgreens I need the filler. Bought items I needed so wasn’t an issue for me.

Hi Charlene, I had the same experinece as Becca. Only the Blue label Active Sport rang up BOGO not the orange label, like the one shown in the add picture. I added a $0.39 Butterfinger filler and no problems with beeps or the cashier! Total cost was $0.90 with a 6.00 RR back!! WAHOO!!!

It also depends on the store. I went to four different Walgreens and bought the same body wash. At two it rang up BGLP and at the other two it was regular price!

ok just came back from Wags and the bogo sale worked for me! I bought 2 Active 3…used 2 $3.00 off and they were free..THEN I got my RR FOR $6.00!!! So yes they are working…on the sad note I went to Tum Thumb and they wouldnt accept my RR anymore. They said that it’s illegal to do so and who ever accepted my coupons earlier were going to be in big trouble?!

Could you also use two coupons in 2 seperate transactions to result in a $6 MM as well?

Melissa I think I understand the question- are you asking if you can rinse and repeat? Yes you can continue to get more RR over and over until you run out of coupons.

Not BOGO in Delaware….my wonderful store was soooo funny about it! I told her that I “read” it was ringing up BOGO in some places & she started asking all sorts of questions. Was it in the Walgreens ad? The Happy Harry’s ad? Should it be??? Did we not mark it correctly? How can I get the register to make it do that? Too funny! I told her not to worry about it, but she was genuinely concerned about why I wasn’t getting the great deal. I LOVE my Happy Harry’s! Still a $3 Moneymaker for me!

Farrah did you get the blue on that Dallas sent a pic of in my post? I looked at my store and they didn’t have these ones- just the ones that look the same but have a tiny bit of orange on the label. The ones that are in the post are the only ones that are BOGO.
