Ok this is my favorite gift guide every year partly because this is my personal shopping demographic (I have two teen girls) and because I think I like the same stuff as a teen girl. So this is always fun to put together and I really hope you get some ideas.
So many teen girls will probably give you extensive lists of the specific things they want- especially clothes and electronics but I still like to come up with surprises for them that aren’t on their lists.
Please note teen gift guides tend to be very pricey so I have included a bunch of more budget friendly dupes or alternatives as well.
Zip Up Pullover. New pjs are a must for under the tree and I think this cute little pullover would be a fun top to add with patterned pj bottoms. My girls wear hoodies a lot to bed so this looks so soft. Note we should see good discounts on Hollister on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday so wait to shop.
Hollister Pajama Shorts. These are my favorite pjs- I picked these shorts because my youngest likes these muted tones and will wear these after the holiday season. There are a bunch of options including long pants too. I also really love these bright red bottoms.
Tasman Dupe Slippers. These are really cute and more affordable versions of the Ugg slippers. If you want to invest a little more, these are the Ugg Tasmans that are so popular. Either the sand color or chestnut color is great and you just want to determine if your teen likes the platform version or the regular sole. Both my girls prefer the regular sole. THESE WILL SELL OUT. Both the dupes and the actual Uggs WILL sell out so buy them early. If they do sell out, the Ugg Mini Boot is a really great second option.
Snack Box. Ok my kids absolutely love food as gifts. If you have a kid that likes chips consider getting the giant boxes of those chips at a warehouse club, or if they like a certain drink why not grab a case. Costco carries cases of the Starbucks Pink Drink, something like that can be really fun and I bet they are so excited. I plan to get this little snack box and fill it with a bunch of candy for my youngest. These Skittles Freeze Dried Candy are new and I plan to find some other interesting things to fill up the snack box and I bet it winds up as her favorite gift.
Owala Water Bottle. I know this is predictable but they probably need a new one so grab a new water bottle – Owala are my favorite.
Couch Console. This is a great idea- it is a little box that can hold drinks, electronics, snacks etc.. on a couch or bed so there are no spills. My youngest is getting this and I know she will use it daily. There are more expensive versions that have built in chargers which is a great little bonus.
Magnetic Charger. I bet your kids need new chargers and this wireless one sticks to the back of the phone so you don’t need a cord. This is a GREAT option considering the new phones have different chargers anyway. I have this exact one and it does work through a case to charge.
Shell Speaker & LED light. This is a fun option for a teen that likes baths or spends ages in the shower. It is a speaker that will play their music and a light that turns the room various colors.
Arched Mirror. A nicer full length mirror is a great gift for teens that want to do fit checks. These arched mirrors with a subtle gold or wood frame seem to be the most popular and they are very affordable gifts that will have a big impact on a room.
Sony Cybershot W100 . Digital cameras are very popular with the older girls especially if they will do any traveling this year. This one is a higher price point but you can find digital cameras starting at $35. Don’t forget to also pick up an SD card adapter to transfer the photos from the camera to the phone.
Instax Printer. This is a fun printer for those photos that makes them look like polaroids. If your teen might like a standard photo printer, this Canon Photo Printer is another option.
Gold Bracelets. These are very cheap and great for stockings. The girls pile them on their wrists and call them stacks. My girls like the beaded ones and the more delicate sets so you can’t go wrong.
Swan Trinket Dish. My girls are constantly leaving jewelry all over the place so this little trinket dish is so pretty and perfect for a bathroom sink or night stand.
Jellycat. These are on everyone’s list this year and I can tell you they are the cutest. I have been buying Jellycat for my girls for a decade now and you can find so many in whatever they might be into at the moment. Note they should be like $18-25 or so. You can see a ton of options direct from Jellycat here.
SneakErasers. If your girls have nice Nike or OnCloud or Sambas or whatever these Sneakerasers are designed to get scuffs out of shoes and are a great stocking stuffer idea.
White Fox Hoodie. These hoodies are still super popular and last year they sold out. I signed up for the mailing list and got notified when they had coupon codes and picked them up at a discount. If these aren’t in your budget, any of these matching sweat suits are very popular. Get an oversized hoodie and normal fit bottoms.
Wireless Keyboard. This is a cute item for an organized girl that wants a beautiful desk area. My daughter likes everything to be “aesthetic” and VSCO worthy and these cute keyboards fit the bill.
Quilted Makeup Pouch. These puffer bags/totes/purses are popular and I love this hot pink. (Another option in a slightly different shape here.) You can fill this up with some of the beauty/skin/hair items they might want – a few suggestions I have of nicer products that won’t kill your budget:
Ole Henriksen Strawberry Sorbet. Lip glosses are very important and Summer Fridays is probably the gloss of the moment but this is a special limited edition exclusive of Ole Henriksen and I bet your daughter loves it.
Dae 3 in 1 Styling Wand. This is a great little thing to get that slicked back ponytail and to tame any flyaways. Great stocking stuffer.
Phlur fragrances. I know everyone has the Sol de Janeiro but Phlur is a nice alternative and I think a slightly more grown up alternative to Bath & Body Works or Sol de Janiero. I got my oldest hooked on the Strawberry Letter scent which is amazing and my youngest loves vanilla so I got that for her. They also have Coconut, Dragon Fruit, Mango and more.. These are not sticky sweet scents, they have layers and are really lovely.
I hope you like these ideas and get some inspiration.
