Teen boys are always the easiest to shop for (food. snacks. drinks.) but also the hardest (what else?) So here are a few practical ideas to fill out Easter baskets this year with something besides candy.
Odorless Shoe Bag. I like to try and think of something practical to use instead of a traditional basket. I’d rather spend $20 on an item we will get a lot of use from than $6 for a basket that will get tossed out immediately. So this seems like a great item for those of you with boys in sports- you can pick up a shoe bag or cleat bag to keep those nasty things from making a mess in a backpack. There are a bunch of options available but this one said smell proof and I know my daughters cleats can make my eyes water at times- if you are in the same boat- well money well spent.
Beef Jerky. I always include some sort of jerky for boys gift guides and this pack of sweet and spicy smoked sausages looks perfect.
Goldfish Crisps. I know Takis are the thing to buy but I wanted to find something a little different and these Goldfish crisps are brand new.
Papatui Personal Care. Hygiene items are always a great idea for teens and this line just launched from The Rock so it might be fun for guys to check out. The coconut scents are perfect for summer- I included the body wash and deodorant.
Nike Socks. Obviously new socks are a staple in any Easter basket and the tie dye pairs are always my favorite.
Differin Body Spray. This is a spray guys can use after practice or the gym and it helps prevent acne on the body or they can just mist it on the face until they are able to shower all that sweat and dirt off.
Keychain Lanyard Clip. My daughter says lanyard clips are big at her high school. I like this one because it is lightweight and simple and can clip on a sports bag or you can attach to a wallet.
Sunscreen Stick. Yes sunscreen. Boring but this stick is easy to put on and can be kept in a bag or car console.
Liquid IV Hydration Packets. I know energy drinks are popular but I prefer hydration packets. These come in so many flavors and are perfect to stuff in bags on the go.
Icy Hot Pain Relief Roll On. Oh yes any athletes will love Icy Hot- I have this in my car at all times. The massaging balm is new and would be fun to try.
Slick Gorilla Hair Powder. This Slick Gorilla hair care line is popular with guys and the powder is the best seller from the line. It gives the hair instant texture to make styling easier and I imagine it serves as a dry shampoo too.
Gatorade Protein Bars. Instead of chocolates try these Gatorade Protein bars. They taste like Snickers to me and they have 20 grams of protein.
Uniball Pens. Some new pens or other school supplies are always nice to pick up around midterms and these Unibell pens are affordable and nice to write with.
That is an awesome Easter basket for guys and filled with things they will actually use (and you’d likely buy anyway).
