And now for a holiday gift guide for the special ladies in your life. I really tried to think of things that are a bit different and super practical and something she might not normally buy for herself. I really hope one or more of these ideas inspires you.
Mini Jewelry Box. These are pretty and perfect for someone that travels and might want to keep jewelry organized and safe. This could also be a nice gift for a young adult that might not have a lot of jewelry.
Ted Lasso Sweatshirt. Any Ted Lasso fans out there? I loved the series and it became a bit of a cult favorite. This is a fun sweatshirt or you can find tons of other ideas for Ted Lasso themed gifts. I actually ordered a Believe sign to hang in the garage workout space as a gift for my husband. He loves the show- you can see more options here.
Digital Timer. This is a great gift for someone that struggles with time management or someone that is always on a tight schedule. This can suction onto a mirror or wall and is waterproof so perfect for a kitchen or bathroom. It is either a clock or countdown timer that also shows the temperature. I have a teenager that is constantly taking forever and running late in the morning. I am grabbing this for her stocking- it will be so helpful to keep her on track in the morning.
Stanley Tumbler. These are the trendy water bottles for the moment and they are actually sold out right now. I went ahead and linked as they will be back in stock in early December or you can click here and pick one up from Williams Sonoma for the same price. If this is a little large for you, this Yeti Tumbler is a similar clean look and is dishwasher safe.
Fire Pit. A fire pit would be such a lovely gift for someone that spends time outdoors and is a perfect way to end a summer night with smores or fall/winter evenings with blankets and hot chocolate. This one is pretty and priced reasonably. I’d include a Smores kit with this if you have the budget- a cute one here or the matching accessories for this fire pit here.
First Aid Repair Cream. A really lovely, rich hand cream is so nice for winter. I wash my hands so often they get incredibly dry and this repair cream is supposed to be amazing. Something practical and a bit of a splurge that is probably nicer than what one might normally buy for themselves.
Laneige Lip Mask. This stuff is always a must have for me. It is a lovely texture and can be used at night as a thick gloss to keep lips from chapping and hydrated. It isn’t sticky and I use it every single night plus I have a second jar in my car.
Sports Shelter. Ok don’t laugh I’m serious on this one. If you know a sports mom, I promise she has sat through freezing cold morning games, pouring rain and wind. These pop up shelters can be so nice to stay warm and dry. I think this is an absolutely perfect gift if you have Grandparents at games or little siblings in particular. I once put together an “introverted sports mom” gift basket for an auction gift and included this, headphones, a blanket etc.. If you’d like to add to this gift a few fun accessories:
- Packable blanket
- Coffee or Tea Mug
- Little Buddy Heater (we love this thing)
Kettle. This is kind of a random item but it is actually on my personal Christmas list. A real kettle can be nice for tea or hot chocolate and feels so much nicer than just tossing a mug into the microwave over and over.
Cashmere Candle. An inexpensive and pretty gift idea for friends or budget gift exchanges. I love the pretty gold and cashmere scent sounds fantastic. For something more rustic, I bought this tinplate candle and it smells amazing. Perfect tied with a gift card and velvet ribbon.
Faux Fur Throw. I love faux fur for the holidays and this throw is reasonably priced, machine washable and I really like the snow leopard print this year. We have tons of these around the house and the dogs love them, the kids love them…
Bissell IconTec Cordless Vacuum. I know you aren’t supposed to get Mom appliances or cleaning items for gifts but that is an old fashioned rule I have never agreed with. If something is going to be used daily and make her life a little easier- I’d say it is a perfect gift. This vacuum gets great reviews, has three cleaning modes for different flooring, has a crevice tool, a tool for cleaning stairs, tangle free brush head so hair doesn’t get all wrapped up and gross. I am treating myself to this vacuum this year because I know I will use it constantly. If you don’t have pets, there is a super affordable option here that is still a great cordless for the home.
PJ Set. I love this floral, cotton pj set but it is showing as limited availability so these pj sets are really lovely too. Matching sets always make me feel like a real grown up and I am wearing one of these as I type and it is super comfy. Salt Lamp. This is such a pretty salt lamp that would be perfect for an office space, nightstand or bathroom. There are 5 different levels of brightness.
Towel Warmer. I was trying to think of something that would be nice for a woman that loves baths- besides the traditional bath salts and bombs. This towel warmer is very luxe and would be a perfect gift for someone that loves baths, lives in colder climates or I have a friend that just bought a hot tub and this would be a great gift for her.
Yeti Coffee Mug. I have always been a Hydroflask girl but I recently learned Yeti can go in the dishwasher so now I am a convert. This sandstone pink color is so pretty and while this is a predictable gift, I still think it is practical and something she will use all the time.
Hot or Cold Thermos . I have lots of friends returning to offices these days so I was thinking a nice bento box or lunchbag would be a great gift. Seems like a thermos is something people don’t always have and they are perfect for hot soups, leftovers, pastas and more. This would also be a great gift for a Mom that is constantly on the go- I am packing dinner to eat at the ballpark tonight, as we have two soccer practices followed by a double header championship softball game.
