Last week I put together some ideas for girls and here is another version with items boys might like! Obviously there is a lot of overlap- my girls are getting the cute chocolate baseball bunnies and they would like almost everything else on this list too. I am sure there are things on the girls list that little fellas would also like so don’t miss that post for more ideas.
Squishy Ball – my girls are obsessed with these. Great stress ball or for kids that have a hard time sitting still.
Talking Emoji Pen – this is a little expensive but I bet kids would get such a kick out of it.
Ninja Erasers – where do the erasers go? Seriously? How is it that a classroom has 453 pencils in it and not an eraser to be found? Whatever secret black hole in the Earth that sucks away one single sock from the dryer also seems to have a lifetime supply of erasers.
Slime Eggs – you could easily make these with plastic dinos and slime but a great alternative to all the candy typically in baskets.
Soccer or Baseball Bunny – I like to pick these up early on as they tend to sell out at my store.
Bacon Toothpaste (or cupcake flavor)- fun or maybe gross. Not sure. Either way brushing teeth is going to be interesting!
Slap Watch – This watch is fun and the slap feature provides endless entertainment.
Joke Books These joke books are always a hit.
Jelly Belly Dispenser A bit of a splurge but how cool is this?
Night Light Up Football– my girls would get a big kick out of this. Great for the last bit of winter.
Lego Tape – have you tried this yet? Build Legos literally anywhere with this tape.
Chalk Box – Sidewalk chalk – we go through tons of this in summer. I bring bags to big sister’s softball and soccer games too for the little siblings to use. On rainy days try chalk art on black construction paper.
Sunglasses – Sunnies. I swear Spring will come soon my friends! Little guys always look so cute in classic sunnies.
Mr Bubbles Bath Foam or Bath Crackles – Yes please. My kids don’t especially love bath time so fun things like foam soap or this crackle stuff looks great! Like pop rocks for the tub. I make my girls soak after long days of sports (one is a soccer goalie so sometimes her little legs really get banged up) or when they start to get crabby and short tempered (That always means they don’t feel well). I swear a long, hot bath, extra veggies and a good nights rest can cure almost everything.
Here is the version for little girls:
And some creative alternatives to a traditional basket:
Dump Trucks // Helmets (for sports or bikes) // bunny basket
