Amazon Prime Day is July 11th and it is usually an event worth noting. Amazon offers a bunch of special deals and sales for Prime customers exclusively.
The deals pop up and sell out quickly so things are constantly changing. You might see discounts on cameras and then toys and clothing and on and on throughout the day- usually these are deals similar to what we see on Black Friday.
I have a Prime membership as do many of you, so you are fine to shop starting at midnight PST. Those that do not have Prime memberships can sign up for a free 30 day trial of Prime and still participate in the event. You will want to do that ahead of time though- if you wait until the day of, the item you want may sell out before you are able to sign up for the free trial.

They are offering some special promotions in advance:
The price is $8.95 per month for 6 months and you will get credits to use to listen to just about any book out there. (I LOVE Audible and have been a member for years. I am currently listening to John Grisham’s new book so blame any typos on John.)
Just $.99 for 4 months of streaming music. I am signing up for this myself!
What? This is great! There are tons of Prime movies and they are free to watch! I was thinking the Wizard of Oz would be a good one to watch with my girls. You have to stream with an actual device like a gaming console or bluray player (not a phone) and the $10 is available to spend on Prime Day. It won’t appear in your account but will come off the total of your purchase when you decide to shop.
Get up to 40% off of Kindle Unlimited. Kindle Unlimited lets you choose from over 1 million titles to read on your device. Some are also narrated if you like the audio book thing (again I am still listening to an audio book as I type. Love them.)
