There is a free rental code available from Redbox right now that you can request via text.
Just text PUSH to 727-272 and you should instantly get a message back with a code. I have not used my code yet but the message does say with your Redbox app so you might not be able to use your code by just showing up at a redbox location.
I did test my own code by just going to Redbox.com and that did work fine for me- I didn’t need to actually download the app.
