How to Make a Christmas Cloche

I have a super simple DIY Christmas craft for you.  This takes just seconds to make and I think it is so pretty and fun to add to your holiday decor.

You can totally customize this to your personal taste and it is a simple craft to try with the kids.

You can make this in any size you like and decorate with your own cute Christmas-y pieces.

All you need to get started is a little terrarium.  This one was $9.99 at the craft store- I used a 50% off coupon so it was super affordable.  I did see these in a plastic, holiday ornament version that was only $2.99 if you prefer.  The plastic was quite a bit smaller.

Next you want to fill it with fake snow.  I used Buffalo snow from Michaels but Epsom Salt would also work beautifully.

Next I found this adorable little mini figure snowman and reindeer at Michael’s.  I found this with the little holiday houses and trains and such.  I think a little mini car carrying a Christmas tree or a Christmas tree and glittery animal (such as a deer) would also be very pretty.  I also grabbed a mini tree.

Just pop the mini figure of your choice inside the terrarium and bury the base in your fake snow.

Add a pretty ribbon to the top and it is that easy!  Cute and simple and a whimsical addition to your holiday decor.  After the holidays, you can bag this up in a freezer bag and save it for next year.

I did use coupons on these items at the craft store and I would say my grand total was less than $10.00 for this cute little craft.
