I wanted to mention Michael’s Passport to Imagination Program for another option this summer. This might be something fun to beat the mid week heat or boredom.
This is a bit different than the Saturday craft that is $2. This program is during the week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Each day is different and the cost is $5 per session or $12 for 3 sessions. 
Your child will get a stamp for each class for their passport. After 5 stamps, they get to choose a special prize. At the end of each session, they will have extra time to doodle, play and create with the products from that week’s sponsor. Fun!
You can check out the schedule here and actually reserve your spot online. Each class typically holds 20 children so the online option is nice.
