I believe this code is only valid for online or in app purchases. I tested it online for a location near me and it worked perfectly!
These codes usually only work if you reserve online first and then select where you want to pick up the movie. Often if you simply drive to the Redbox location and try to enter the code it won’t work for you.
Just head over to redbox.com, select the movie and the location to pick up. Enter the code at checkout and you should see a price of $0. If the code does not work, you may need to select another location.
The movie does need to be returned tomorrow to avoid any late fee charges.
