The Green Bag Tag program ended at CVS. However, the stores are offering a $2 ECB as a farewell to the program. For those that still have the tags, you might want to hit CVS and scan your tag.
I am not sure how long the $2 ECB will be available so don’t wait.
While you are there, you might want to check out the children’s sunglasses for $1.99 or less!

Hi! 🙂 I’m a CVS employee, you have until May 31st to do your final scan to get your $2 ecb.
Thanks! 🙂
Rebecca thanks so much for the info. I think CVS sent me something a few days ago and I have no clue what I did with it 😉
Said to hear it is going away…and thanks for the info about it. I had no idea!
Me too. CVS made me feel like they really appreciated the use of reusable bags with the program but I guess it was costing them too much or something. Too bad they just didn’t lower the price to like 5 cents like Target does to reward those of us who use reusable bags.
Loved the program while it was there.
Thanks Charlene for the info & all that you do here at the site.
Thx, did my final CVS Bag Tag scan & just a heads-up that the resulting 2 ECB is short-dated–exp. 7 days later. Still a very nice gesture. I went back into my history and found that since its inception, I accumulated 260 Bag Tag scans total = $65 ECBs, plus it trained me to remember to bring my reuseable bags always. Thanks CVS, my fave drugstore!!
Planning to upcycle the CVS Bag Tag green leaf…into a luggage name tag, lol 🙂 Paste my name, address onto both sides of the leaf.
