Target has recalled more than half million two-piece pajama sets. I thought this was worth mentioning because I know I buy tons of children’s items at Target and I am sure many of you do as well.
The pajamas are made of other cotton or cotton/fleece materials and fail to meet the federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear.
They were sold under the name brands of either Circo or Xhilaration and in infant and toddler sizes 12M, 2T, 3T, 4T and 5T and in girls and boys sizes XS, S, M, L and XL between the months of August and November of 2012.
You can see a complete list of item numbers that are part of the recall here. The item number is on the tag in the side seam of the shirts and in the waist of the pants.
The pajamas can be taken to any Target location for a full refund.
You can see the full details of the Target Pajama Recall here.

We should be recalling the pj’s doused in flame retardants, not the other way around. Since parents no longer chain-smoke while tucking in their children, can we please re-evaluate our antiquated, poisonous flame retardant requirements. The real story should be – here’s a great product to use so you don’t tuck your children to bed surrounded by cancer-causing chemicals.

@JCH, I was just thinking the same thing. My neighbor does research on (unnecessary & toxic) flame retardants and has shared with us how they are added to everything despite it’s harmful side effects. It’s like a slow poison.

I just wanted to say I agree with theses comments. I thought the same thing.
