Here is your cheat sheet for what will be on sale in August!
August is a great month for tons of variety in fresh produce and we should see really good prices on a lot of these items.
Labor Day is right around the corner (9/3) and that is when retailers typically shift all the school supply stuff out and start bringing in the holiday merchandise. The craft stores are already into Christmas in my area but if you have been putting off school supply shopping, you might want to get going on that in early August.
We will see one last push for grilling and outdoor items on sale right before Labor Day and then things will switch over to holiday prep items. (Baking supplies etc…)
There should be tons of sales on lunchbox items this month- Capri Suns, Jello, lunchables and all those sort of packaged foods. This is a great time to stock up if you use these products. Ziplocs are also usually a great deal.
Don’t forget the tax free weekends still available in many states and if you are a teacher, check out Staples teacher appreciation day.
