I can’t even begin to tell you how long I have spent on this project. I don’t actually use a coupon binder myself but I know I am in the minority on that and lots of you consider your binders part of the family.
When you are new to couponing, one of the big hurdles to overcome is simply getting everything sorted out and organized. So hopefully I can help! I spent a long time doing research and testing products and hopefully I have come up with a pretty decent custom coupon binder.
And I have 5 of them ready to go as a giveaway for five of you guys and I hope you like what I have pulled together! These binders are fully organized and even include a few complete coupon inserts so you are off to the races!
If you would like to win one custom binder filled with everything I think you need to get started using coupons (or move yourself up to the next level of using coupons) you have a few chances to win:
1. Just leave a comment below letting me know what system you use to organize your coupons. Do you have them in a nice binder already, an accordian file, envelopes, all crumbled up in the bottom of your purse? I was actually the latter of those selections until this weekend when I finally got through about a zillion coupons and now they are nicely organized. (whoot whoot!)
2. FOR A BONUS ENTRY: Just like My Frugal Adventures on Facebook. Easy peasy. Make sure to leave a SECOND comment letting me know we are friends!
AND IF YOU REALLY WANT TO WIN:
You can share this giveaway on your Facebook wall. I have extra binders all set to go and if one of your friends likes My Frugal Adventures and wins the giveaway, you get a binder just for referring them!
To share this on your wall just look for the little blue f in a square at the bottom of this post. It looks like this:
Click that and this giveaway will post to your wall!
So good luck! I will pick a winner on Thursday at 7pm PST.
*Note: I know there are lots of male readers these days which is just awesome. So not to worry I have a choice of two colors in the binder for each winner. So you guys won’t be hauling around a bright pink binder unless you decide that’s the one you want.
Please be sure to leave a comment by clicking below. Any comments on Facebook, twitter or via email will not count!

Shared your site on facebook. 🙂
i don’t really have a system…crumpled on the bottom of my purse would best describe it!
Accordian with full inserts in binder
Already a fan on FB
Er, my coupons end up in stacks on the counter, wadded up in my purse, wasted, generally…
A binder clip sorted by expiration date.
we are friends on FB.
I have coupons in envelopes and stuffed in my purse! I really need a coupon binder:)
I currently use one of the small accordian organizers – I am a “newer” couponer but have helping my mom coupon for years, before I thought it was cool (and living on my own..) to save money! 😉 I am completely jealous of her binder and would love to start one of my own!
P.S – Were friends 🙂
I’m new to couponing, so I’m just finding my way into what works and what doesn’t (more of the latter)! Right now, I’m trying to reuse junk mail envelopes labeled with different categories, such as dairy, frozen, drinks, etc. Then when I need a certain coupon, it’s not so many to go through. The envelopes get tattered quickly though…would love to try something new and better!
i currently have a binder. but it’s pretty crappy. 🙂
like you on fb – erin n r
I have them in an envelope!!!
I like you on facebook!!!
I have tried the binder approach, and I absolutely love it, but it is a ton of work!
I’m a Facebook fan!
I was using one of the small accordion file folders and I always seemed to be searching and searching for the right coupon. About a week ago I switched to an organized binder. … However, the binder is on loan b/c i sorted stole it from my hubby (shhhh!!!) He had some old comic trading cards from his younger years in it (so it already had the clear protective sheets) Anyway, I removed the cards and inserted them neatly in a protected box and then inserted my coupons. Voila! instant coupon binder. I’m sure my hubby would appreciate his back though so I would love to win one of these!!! Thanks for offering them 🙂
We are now friends!!!!
Sincerely Your Friend Trying To Win A Coupon Binder 🙂
My current coupon situtation is a disaster. All piledin a basket that I have to sort through every week.
I am brand new to couponing, and I am already annoyed by how much money I have thrown away by NOT using them over the years! Now I am a single mom and am appreciative of every dime I save. Thanks for your blog, and the opportunity to win!
My current coupon system is kept in an accordian folder that is not big enough. Several of the categories re grouped toether which is quite ineffective, but we try. My husband’s system is loose in a drawer in the kitchen.
I’ve got coupons running out my ears and 3 different systems going right now – the unclipped insert crate, the cute box with dividers and the plastic envelope in my purse. Of course, then there are the coupons all over the house, car and computer desk.
We are now FB Friends!
I liked you on facebook because my friend Laura C shared the link. I really do like you!!!
sadly my coupon situation is pretty much a basket kept in a half hazard conglomerate of coupons not in a very good order. I’ve been trying to get things organized and look into the whole new couponing thing going on but for some reason just can’t get anything in order and am in desperate need of help
we are now friends I have liked your page on FB

I have a small coupon organizer that I ordered from a fundraiser.
I use an accordian style file holder. Its not very good for multiple sections.
I’m so glad I found your site. I saw it on my friend’s Facebook page. I’m more along the lines of an envelope stuffed in my purse. I need help!
I have a big accordian file holder with inserts and random cut coupons that are in desperate need of organization. I need to get organized!
I follow you on Facebook as well! 🙂
Hi!
I would love a binder. I started passive couponing a year ago when our financed demanded it. I have gotten better and better over the year, but I am using envelopes labeled food, body, restaurant, and home… It isn’t easy to search circulars and coupons that way. Oh, i have recently added a Target envelope now that I use their coupons too. It takes so long to organize a shopping excursion.
Hey! I’m new at couponing. I’m 22 and my boyfriend just bought a new car so he has a monthly payment now so I decided couponing would/should save us some money. At first, I just left the coupons by my computer and before I got ready to go to the store, I would shuffle them into my purse. I recently bought a little accordion file to fit inside my purse but it seems if I had something that I could look at and see all my coupons, it would make shopping so much easier. Oh and I liked you on facebook. 🙂
Now I’m friends with you because of my good friend Lori B.
I am brand new to couponing . . . right now, I don’t feel like I have a system . . . my coupons are mostly somewhere in my pocketbook and some are on my counter. I’ve shared your link!!! Good luck everyone!
I currently use a small accordian file that is badly beat up. I binder would be awesome!!
I Like you on facebook, a lot!!
I use an accordian file for my coupons.

I’ve liked you on facebook and shared the link on my page. 🙂
my coupons are scatter around in my purses/diaper bags (i know-really sad) hopefully I’ll win one of these, it will be very helpful.
I follow you on FB
I would love this coupon binder :0) What I have been doing is keeping my coupon inserts in a plastic drawer and when I follow the ad matching, I go to that insert and cut it and prepare my shopping that way. That doesn’t really work if I see a clearance or good deal in the store that wasn’t advertised.
I like you on facebook :0)
I liked you on FB.
Oh yeah and I posted the link on FB and my coupons are somewhat organized by category, but in my purse, with an occasional envelope thrown in for good measure 🙂 Thanks for contest!!
I have my coupons in envelopes and organized by stores.
