I can’t even begin to tell you how long I have spent on this project. I don’t actually use a coupon binder myself but I know I am in the minority on that and lots of you consider your binders part of the family.
When you are new to couponing, one of the big hurdles to overcome is simply getting everything sorted out and organized. So hopefully I can help! I spent a long time doing research and testing products and hopefully I have come up with a pretty decent custom coupon binder.
And I have 5 of them ready to go as a giveaway for five of you guys and I hope you like what I have pulled together! These binders are fully organized and even include a few complete coupon inserts so you are off to the races!
If you would like to win one custom binder filled with everything I think you need to get started using coupons (or move yourself up to the next level of using coupons) you have a few chances to win:
1. Just leave a comment below letting me know what system you use to organize your coupons. Do you have them in a nice binder already, an accordian file, envelopes, all crumbled up in the bottom of your purse? I was actually the latter of those selections until this weekend when I finally got through about a zillion coupons and now they are nicely organized. (whoot whoot!)
2. FOR A BONUS ENTRY: Just like My Frugal Adventures on Facebook. Easy peasy. Make sure to leave a SECOND comment letting me know we are friends!
AND IF YOU REALLY WANT TO WIN:
You can share this giveaway on your Facebook wall. I have extra binders all set to go and if one of your friends likes My Frugal Adventures and wins the giveaway, you get a binder just for referring them!
To share this on your wall just look for the little blue f in a square at the bottom of this post. It looks like this:
Click that and this giveaway will post to your wall!
So good luck! I will pick a winner on Thursday at 7pm PST.
*Note: I know there are lots of male readers these days which is just awesome. So not to worry I have a choice of two colors in the binder for each winner. So you guys won’t be hauling around a bright pink binder unless you decide that’s the one you want.
Please be sure to leave a comment by clicking below. Any comments on Facebook, twitter or via email will not count!

recently lost my job and looking to make ends meet to care for my family so learning to coupon.
i am new on this couponig thing,,just 6 weeks,,,but so far you are helping me to save money, thank you, i just use envelopes.i like you on facebook too.
I’ve been couponing for almost 50 yrs. I think I’ve used just about every type of coupon filing system. but havent used the binder yet. If I win one I promise to use it. Right now I’m using envelopes with store names on them
Hey I “LIKE ” you
I shared this giveaway on my face book
I look forward to hearing your deals on WVEC each Sunday.
I don’t really have a “system”, I’m trying to get going on this! I save the inserts, rolled up with a rubber band, and the date written on the outside. I hope to do better and save more money…..
I’ve been using a coupon binder
I keep them in a stack on the desk and then forget to take them with me! Help!
I am a Friend on Facebook!
I’m using envelopes and it’s not working well. HELP!
I have a binder but would love to have another to keep me organized!
Just liked you on facebook. 🙂
I am just getting back to couponing after somewhat of a break while I went to school while working. This would be great! I usually have mine in 3 seperate accordian files, but right now they are all in a box waiting to be cut and filed.
I like you on Facebook
I currently keep my coupons in a canister at home – and THEN crumple them up in my wallet when goign to the store. VERY orgnized system!
I like you on Facebook.
I don’t have a system but did try my own binder. It wasn’t sturdy enough and my pages weren’t organized enough. But I’m ready to try again.
I am a mother of one (with one on the way!) and have made the realization that couponing is the way to go. I’ve always been a fan of coupons (and sometimes get made fun of) but I know it’s time to get serious.
My current coupon situation could be described as ambitious. I have inserts from my mother-in-law and sister-in-law stacked on my kitchen table along with a “basket” of the ones I’ve clipped. Together, I would describe it as a “hot mess”.
Thank you for being an inspiration to so many of us and helping us northern California women in being more frugal with our hard earned money. You rock!
P.S. I have “Liked” you on Facebook as well! Now other friends can be inspired!
Currently I try to use a file folder at home and pick the coupon I need before I head out shopping. I miss a lot of deals so I would LOVE to win the binder!!!
I just put my coupons in an envelope. I could use the organization! I get your emails and I “liked” MFA on facebook too. Thanks for all the help saving us money!!
I also follow you on facebook!
I used an old ratty envelope for the longest time!! Now I use a coupon accordion file. It isnt much larger than my wallet so I carry it with me all of the time. Never know when you might need a coupon!
The ‘like’ on Facebook has been done for quite a while. I will take the extra entry though!!! (I think I could get lunch out of my sisters by sharing the coupons with them!)
I like you on Facebook!
Shared the contest on my facebook!! I hope someone I refer wins so that we can both benefit! 🙂
Even though, it takes more time, I still use the accordion method. But I have seen a lot of people in stores using the binder. Would love to win this! Thanks for the giveaway!
I have a little wallet type thing right now, but dream of a binder to help me get organized.
I also follow you on Facebook.
I try to coupon and I am learning that I have been doing it all wrong! hahah, so I ued to be an envelope ziploc baggy girl, but I am trying to get organized
I paperclip my coupons together and put them in my purse, but my system is quite literally falling apart.
I commented on FB that I liked you but not sure if I need to comment here too….I like you on FB!! There, now my bases are covered:)
Mine are in a draw in the kitchen some are in a Micky d bag 🙁
I use a small accordian file holder that fits in my purse. I am just starting out and trying to get the hang of couponing!!!!
I at first started using just a plain envelope and separated them with stores/places i wanted to use them at. Then i tried a large binder and failed then i thought a small binder would work but it ended up not working either
Shared you on my wall! :))
I liked youR page
I use a small accordian file for my coupons that fits in my purse. I feel like I need a new system and would love to win one of these binders!
I am also friends with you on facebook. 🙂
So, my current coupon situation is new because I’ve only just gotten back on the coupon trail (and boy am I having fun!). I have several weeks worth of coupons and stuff I’ve printed off all in a 2-1/2 gallon zip lock bag. And when I get ready to go shopping, I just make my list, then go through that bag and pull out coupons relevant to my list. It’s not a great system, but I haven’t found a better way yet. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE a binder that is all set up and ready to go!!!
And my second comment… I not only LIKE you on facebook, but I LOVE you! 😉
Don’t have a good system…this would help!
Awesome web site. A lot of saving
Have had the envelopes at the bottom of the purse before and given up. Would love to try a new system!
I love the frugal site thanks for all your hard work!!
I use a purse with no order or fashion and usually I cut them out right at the store as I need them. I would love a new system.:)
thanks again
Jane
I have tried to us a binder or a seperate drawer in a small desktop file cabinet. HOWEVER, nothing works!!!!! I have limited time. I work a 40 hour job plus two kids.
I likeed your facebook page
I use envelopes and that system does not work for me. Thanks for the opporunity!
We’re now friends on FB and I shared this with my friends. 🙂
I’m a loser, I use envelopes then forget to use the coupons. See? Loser. But, I want to get better, and having an orgaized start will really help! 🙂
