{CLOSED} Giveaway: 5 Loaded Coupon Binders

07/04/2011 By Charlene

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

I can’t even begin to tell you how long I have spent on this project.  I don’t actually use a coupon binder myself but I know I am in the minority on that and lots of you consider your binders part of the family.

When you are new to couponing, one of the big hurdles to overcome is simply getting everything sorted out and organized.  So hopefully I can help!  I spent a long time doing research and testing products and hopefully I have come up with a pretty decent custom coupon binder.

And I have 5 of them ready to go as a giveaway for five of you guys and I hope you like what I have pulled together!  These binders are fully organized and even include a few complete coupon inserts so you are off to the races!

If you would like to win one custom binder filled with everything I think you need to get started using coupons (or move yourself up to the next level of using coupons) you have a few chances to win:

1. Just leave a comment below letting me know what system you use to organize your coupons.  Do you have them in a nice binder already, an accordian file, envelopes, all crumbled up in the bottom of your purse?    I was actually the latter of those selections until this weekend when I finally got through about a zillion coupons and now they are nicely organized.   (whoot whoot!)

2. FOR A BONUS ENTRY:  Just like My Frugal Adventures on Facebook. Easy peasy.   Make sure to leave a SECOND comment letting me know we are friends!

AND IF YOU REALLY WANT TO WIN:

You can share this giveaway on your Facebook wall.  I have extra binders all set to go and if one of your friends likes My Frugal Adventures and wins the giveaway, you get a binder just for referring them!

To share this on your wall just look for the little blue f in a square at the bottom of this post.  It looks like this:

Click that and this giveaway will post to your wall!

So good luck!  I will pick a winner on Thursday at 7pm PST.

*Note: I know there are lots of male readers these days which is just awesome.  So not to worry I have a choice of two colors in the binder for each winner.  So you guys won’t be hauling around a bright pink binder unless you decide that’s the one you want.

Please be sure to leave a comment by clicking below.  Any comments on Facebook, twitter or via email will not count!

I currently have all of my coupons (still in the RP/PG/SS inserts) in a pile on my bedroom floor with slips of paper that say the date/insert between each set… Pretty much chaos when my 3 year old tried to ‘help’ me locate a certain coupon..

I have an accordian system at home and bring the coupons to the store in an envelope. Lately, thought I have been losing the envelope either in the cart or in my purse.

I just use the filing system right now. I put all my inserts in by the date I receive. After I check your site to compile my shopping list, I get my coupons I need. I don’t bring all my coupons with me when I shop. Not having all my coupons with me does have its disadvantages since I can’t do an impromptu deal.

Right now I use Freezer bags with the date on them….. I don’t think it will work much longer, HUGE MESS!!

I just decided I want to start couponing after my husband decided he wanted to go back to school. Needless to say our budget was cut big time! I was a very thifty person, but now I am not able to fill my grocery basket as well with the new budget. I want to learn the couponing way but most of the lectures around me costs money! I have found someone that wants to help me but we can’t find the time to get together. I know that having a binder already full would help her teach me and it would definitly help me learn!

Currently I use a zip lock baggy system. I have a zip lock full of coupons I plan on using, one of stuff I may use but don’t plan on using so if I see a good deal at the store I whip that out and go through it. Then I have one full of expired coupons I’m getting ready to send to my friends overseas, and one full of ones I’m never gonna use [like denture cream, ham, etc. lol] that I’m going to give away or send overseas. =] Oh and another one just for my “Free” coupons. Like the free cottonell wet wipes from a while back. And one time I had a complaint about a tyson chicken so I got a coupon for a free chicken, or used my huggies enjoy the ride points to get coupons for free wipes and diapers. Those kinds of free coupons. =]

I just recently switched to binder from an accordion file. Now that I’m carrying this around with me, though, so many people including four of my friends have asked me to teach them how to coupon – like I’m some kind of expert! Haha. You have to love saving money, though, even if it’s your friends’!

I am curently using the accordian file. I have been wanting to switch over to the binder but I just haven’t had the time to make the switch. I have a 4 and 5 year old and they will be going to Preschool and Kindergarten in the fall so I am planning on doing my shopping during that time so that I can go through my accordian file and not be rushed. I see women with binders all the time and their systems looks like they are a tad bit more organized then my system. This would be a wonderful prize to win and try it out to see if it help me to be more efficient and organized!

  30. Jenn says

I currently file all my coupons by date in an accordian file. I then clip the ones I want to use and put them in a photo album to take to the stores.

I can definitely benefit from one of these. I just got started and has been using an envelope system, which is way to crowded now.

I am currently using envelopes. My daughter has been using a binder for quite some time and I would like to transition to a binder. I just haven’t gotten around to getting a binder and the inserts, etc. I would love to win one of these binders because that would help me transition to the binder “sooner rather than later.” Thanks for all of your hard work getting these binders together! I check your blog at least once a day, but usually check it several times a day! Thanks for the great job you do telling all of us “penny pinchers” where to find the savings.
