{CLOSED} Giveaway: 5 Loaded Coupon Binders

07/04/2011 By Charlene

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

I can’t even begin to tell you how long I have spent on this project.  I don’t actually use a coupon binder myself but I know I am in the minority on that and lots of you consider your binders part of the family.

When you are new to couponing, one of the big hurdles to overcome is simply getting everything sorted out and organized.  So hopefully I can help!  I spent a long time doing research and testing products and hopefully I have come up with a pretty decent custom coupon binder.

And I have 5 of them ready to go as a giveaway for five of you guys and I hope you like what I have pulled together!  These binders are fully organized and even include a few complete coupon inserts so you are off to the races!

If you would like to win one custom binder filled with everything I think you need to get started using coupons (or move yourself up to the next level of using coupons) you have a few chances to win:

1. Just leave a comment below letting me know what system you use to organize your coupons.  Do you have them in a nice binder already, an accordian file, envelopes, all crumbled up in the bottom of your purse?    I was actually the latter of those selections until this weekend when I finally got through about a zillion coupons and now they are nicely organized.   (whoot whoot!)

2. FOR A BONUS ENTRY:  Just like My Frugal Adventures on Facebook. Easy peasy.   Make sure to leave a SECOND comment letting me know we are friends!

AND IF YOU REALLY WANT TO WIN:

You can share this giveaway on your Facebook wall.  I have extra binders all set to go and if one of your friends likes My Frugal Adventures and wins the giveaway, you get a binder just for referring them!

To share this on your wall just look for the little blue f in a square at the bottom of this post.  It looks like this:

Click that and this giveaway will post to your wall!

So good luck!  I will pick a winner on Thursday at 7pm PST.

*Note: I know there are lots of male readers these days which is just awesome.  So not to worry I have a choice of two colors in the binder for each winner.  So you guys won’t be hauling around a bright pink binder unless you decide that’s the one you want.

Please be sure to leave a comment by clicking below.  Any comments on Facebook, twitter or via email will not count!

I have a binder, but have trouble keeping up with it. Most times I just stuff some coupons in an envelope and head to the store!

I follow on Facebook. I use file folders for inserts .Plastic envelopes with store names and coupons in a small handled tote to shop.

This would be great! Right now I have a bunch of envelopes and a large file folder to stick the inserts in.

file folder but it takes forever to find a coupon

  10. Stacy G says

I use a small envelope-sized coupon binder. It holds a lot but I have to dig through each section every time I need something. A binder folder would be better 🙂

I love this idea – always looking for new ideas for my couponing hobby! I am currently using an accordian file, but have been seriously considering going to a binder. This would be perfect! Thanks for the offer!

I use a few different reusable zippered envelopes for my coups currently. I could soooo use a fab new system 🙂

I have an old school binder with plastic page protectors. It does ok for the inserts, but I need to figure something out for the rest of my coupons. Thanks for giveaway!

Accordian file in my purse w/ the week’s coupons I need for different deals. Then I have a binder with long-expiration coupons that I don’t currently need. If I was to win the new binder I’d most likely pass the one I have now off to my sister to help her get organized!

i use a 3 ring binder but it’s totally beat up and taped up with packaging tape. lately i have gone to envelopes for each store with the coupons in them to make quick trips. if i have time, i bring the whole binder into the store.

  23. Tisha says

    07/04/2011 at 1:59 PM

I use envelopes right now but would love a binder – I keep saying I’m going to get one and get started but just haven’t gotten around to it yet

  24. Tammy Jaycox says

    07/04/2011 at 1:59 PM

I use the binder method and find it very easy to use and it keeps me organized. I can see each coupon. I have it in the order of the Schnucks grocery store I go to. They just redid the store now I have to get use to everything in new aisles and take time to rearrange my binder. Thanks. I love your site.

I use a cheap accordion file and it is tough bc i do it alphabetically (best system I have thought of) and things like cereal and dairy are clumped together really bogging down certain areas

  26. Mandi says

    07/04/2011 at 2:04 PM

I use a few different ways…I do use a binder and also use an envelop

    07/04/2011 at 2:06 PM

Right now I have my coupons organized (mostly!) in manolis folders separated by category (food, cleaning supplies, etc.) but I’d LOVE to break it down more in a binder!!! 🙂 Happy 4th!

I have a little flip index card folder that has 4 slots and can hold maybe 50 coupons if I am lucky. I put the coupons I am going to use for that shopping trip in the different sections of this folder otherwise I use envelopes and plastic baggies.

  34. Monica Boblitt says

    07/04/2011 at 2:08 PM

I use a combination of the coupons in a purse, envelope, file folder full. 🙁 I am very eager & dying to get organized so I can save even more though… Happy 4th! 🙂

I use a coupon binder and totally love it. My best friend and I started ours recently and were head over heals for our binders! Unfortunately her binder was stolen from her car about week ago and we are devastated. If you chose me, I’ll give it to my friend Rebecca. She deserves it!

  38. Heather Myers says

I take envelopes that mail comes in and “recycle” them. I use a different envelope for each store but it gets very difficult to find the coupons I want and often times the coupon is in a different envelope so I miss out on the deal. I sure could use a better system.

I sort all my coupon inserts in an accordian binder by date. Working so far but interested in trying something more organized.

  40. Ash B says

    07/04/2011 at 2:11 PM

I currently use a binder, but it is getting very worn.. the zipper is about to pop at any time.

  41. Sandy (Mom of 6) says

    07/04/2011 at 2:11 PM

Right now my coupons are organized chaos. I have inserts that are organized by date in a pile (semi-neatly) and then I have a binder with some coupons that I actually had time to clip and organize and then I have an accordian file that I take on my trips with me. I need some organization in my life!

  42. staci stapkes says

    07/04/2011 at 2:12 PM

I use an accordian file, but in the accordian file I have ziplock baggies to sort even further. I really want to try a binder..hoping it would take less time to match up coupons in the store.

  43. Sandy (Mom of 6) says

    07/04/2011 at 2:12 PM

I follow MFA on facebook and want to say “Thank you!” for all the work you do. You have saved me enormous amounts of time and money and with 6 kids, that’s truly priceless! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  44. Ashley Aquino says

    07/04/2011 at 2:13 PM

I’m new to this as well and I don’t exactly have the luxury of creating a really nice binder right now so my coupons are all in piles at the side of my desk 😀

  49. Brett Gunnells says

My girlfriend and her family just recently got me into couponing. I do not have a binder or folder yet to keep my coupons in. I work at a grocery store and always keep an eye out for a good sale or coupon opportunity. This folder seems to be a perfect start to my organization process.

I currently use an envelope system, but it is in need of a major overhaul!
