{CLOSED} Giveaway: 5 Loaded Coupon Binders

07/04/2011 By Charlene

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

I can’t even begin to tell you how long I have spent on this project.  I don’t actually use a coupon binder myself but I know I am in the minority on that and lots of you consider your binders part of the family.

When you are new to couponing, one of the big hurdles to overcome is simply getting everything sorted out and organized.  So hopefully I can help!  I spent a long time doing research and testing products and hopefully I have come up with a pretty decent custom coupon binder.

And I have 5 of them ready to go as a giveaway for five of you guys and I hope you like what I have pulled together!  These binders are fully organized and even include a few complete coupon inserts so you are off to the races!

If you would like to win one custom binder filled with everything I think you need to get started using coupons (or move yourself up to the next level of using coupons) you have a few chances to win:

1. Just leave a comment below letting me know what system you use to organize your coupons.  Do you have them in a nice binder already, an accordian file, envelopes, all crumbled up in the bottom of your purse?    I was actually the latter of those selections until this weekend when I finally got through about a zillion coupons and now they are nicely organized.   (whoot whoot!)

2. FOR A BONUS ENTRY:  Just like My Frugal Adventures on Facebook. Easy peasy.   Make sure to leave a SECOND comment letting me know we are friends!

AND IF YOU REALLY WANT TO WIN:

You can share this giveaway on your Facebook wall.  I have extra binders all set to go and if one of your friends likes My Frugal Adventures and wins the giveaway, you get a binder just for referring them!

To share this on your wall just look for the little blue f in a square at the bottom of this post.  It looks like this:

Click that and this giveaway will post to your wall!

So good luck!  I will pick a winner on Thursday at 7pm PST.

*Note: I know there are lots of male readers these days which is just awesome.  So not to worry I have a choice of two colors in the binder for each winner.  So you guys won’t be hauling around a bright pink binder unless you decide that’s the one you want.

Please be sure to leave a comment by clicking below.  Any comments on Facebook, twitter or via email will not count!

My coupons are in an envelope and in a zip lock bag. Can’t wait to find a good method to sort out the coupons.

Hi! I have been waiting until after school starts this fall to buy a binder on clearance. I would love to win one from you! I currently use an accordian file made for coupons. It takes me forever to shop sometimes because I fish through coupons just to see if I have one for an item that is on sale. I can’t wait to switch to a different system that will make coupon shopping easier!

I’m fairly new to this still and haven’t gotten around to getting a binder yet, I have my coupons in small zip loc bags that are labeled and placed in larger “category” zip loc bags…not very convenient : (

I have a little pouch in my purse for coupons, but it isn’t the most organized collection! Lol. I would love to have a little help!

I file my coupons in a file cabinet by Sunday. And only bring a few coupons with me in an envelope. It would be better to have a binder because when I only bring coupons I need at that time I miss clearance items or items that are on sale that were not featured in the ad.

I’m currently using paperclips and a ziploc bag, I need an improvement!

I put all my coupons in a box and then transfer to envelopes when I go shopping. It’s very unorganized and I would love a better system!

I am new to couponing and would love to win a binder! I actually just did my first REAL shopping trip today. Total was $145. Spent $84. So not terrible but not great either. Only about a 45% savings. I am a facebook fan and shared it on facebook as well! Thanks!

I could use a coupon binder. I have been couponing since September 2010 and my current method is a small box with index files and a regular manilla envelope for coupon inserts. I actually was bringing both in with me to the grocery store but it was taking too much room up in the cart and looked tacky. So now I just take the coupons that I have already matched in with me and then buy only those items. It is my system on a shoe string budget. I would LOVE A BINDER!!

I just started and guess I didn’t realize how many coupons I would accrue. I bought a little wallet size coupon holder and it is stuffed with precious coups:) It can be somewhat difficult while in a store finding the coupon of an unplanned sale item. I NEED a better system because coup-ing has become a valuable part of my lifestyle:)

I have an envelop that all my coupons go in, but I need to get better organized, This is the one of the few parts of my life that is semi-organized, while everything else is completely organized. Unfortunately, I have let some good coupons go to waste because they expired and I didn’t realize it until it was too late. Ugh!

  23. Cindy Ainger says

    07/04/2011 at 1:14 PM

I use an accordian file from the dollar store that is held together with lots of tape. 🙂

Right now I keep all my coupons in a stack on my kitchen windowsill with a paperweight on them. When it is time to shop I sort through them and the ones that go with me are in one stack in my purse. I definitely need some organization!

I have a one of those Target dollar spot sorters. Each store has it’s own section. Store all my coupon inserts on my desk in a stacked sorter… or whatever the heck you call those. 🙂

Right now I have two plastic binders. One is falling apart and the other one is a skinny science binder I stole from my 7th grader. Oh and I also have a white envolpe with my “to file” coupons. I am really looking forward to school supply sales so I can get a good vinyl binder with an actual zipper.

I have my coupons “organized” in a binder, but would love to have more. I really enjoy going into the stores with my binders. One of the checkers at Safeway always says, “Oh, you’re that lady.” I love that he recognizes me because of couponing.

I currently use a recipe box with dividers for each “category” of the grocery store, but I find it a little cumbersome pulling out bunches of coupons for each category (especially all the HABA coupons!). I’ve been thinking of using a binder but just haven’t gotten there yet. This would help! : )

  37. Jayne says

I currently use a file folder that is for checks to organize my coupons. Thanks for the fun give away!

  46. Melda McCann says

I have designed 4 small plastic photo books with plastic holder two-sided slots normally for pictures (filled with coupons, not photos, about 20-30 pages in each book). I typed a label and slipped in the front cover of each for the names of the 4 stores I frequent, Target, Wal-Mart, Kroger, & Albertsons. I have the inside tabs labeled as aisle numbers, not food/dry good categories. The front inside cover tells me a quick synopsis of what is in those aisles. I find this works best for me. I spent the time to research what products are in (for example) aisles 1-4 at Wal-Mart. Then, I search my ads for that week, coupons, taking the other ads with me for comp prices, and I insert only those coupons I will purchase for that trip for products located in aisle 1-4 at Wal-Mart into the first tab (Aisle 1-4). I will do the same for all other tabs in my photo book for just that trip’s coupons for easy go in, shop, and go without sorting through a million pages or pockets in the store. I would LOVE to have the binders because I do keep a stash at home in a binder where I have all my coupons stored that I fill into my 4 small photo pouches when I actually make my store runs and also keep many full inserts at home.

I wish I could say I have a system…they are just hanging out in a container in the pantry, grab the few I know I am going to use, then when I get to the store, I wish I had the ones that got left behind.

I do have a coupon binder put the rings in it always fall out. All my indivual coupons that come in the mall I stuff into any old envleop then always forget to take it with me. Having a coupon binder from you would be a godsend something ready to go.
