Well between the giveaways and the Target deals I am really hoppin this morning. Here is a chance to win $100 cash from Ebates. The winner will get a check in the mail that they can take right to the bank and cash. I hope this comes in handy for many of you, I know I could use $100! That is 2 weeks in groceries for me (or maybe some great shoes).
I have talked about Ebates lots of times before, basically it is a cash back company. You just register and whenever you want to shop online, just go to Ebates first and type in the name of the store (like Target or Barnes and Noble etc..)
You will see the cash back rate displayed and that is a rebate amount you will get back on your purchase. So today they have 5% cash back to Home Depot. If I placed a $100 order at Home Depot, I would receive $5 back in a check from Ebates.
It actually does add up fast and they mail checks quarterly. So always a nice little surprise in the mailbox. In addition, when you are new to Ebates they give you $5 in your account just for signing up.
Easy! The only trick is that you need to have $5 or more in your account (not including that bonus) before your check is mailed.

I’m technically not shopping for anything but still buy things at Target, etc. I think it’s a great idea to buy gift cards on ebates and use the cards to buy my everyday stuff at Target, etc. But the $100 will go towards my adoption fundraising!!!!

My baby (18) is leaving for college in 4 weeks, I’ve been busy, busy, busy buying stuff for his apartment. Whew, dishes, towels, glasses, bedding, bathroom “stuff”, broom, mop, oh my, I’m going to go broke before I even help with his education. I sure hope he gets a really nice nursing home for me when the time comes, lol.
My most recent purchase was a tortilla press so I no longer have to buy store bought tortillas. Next round of purchases will be school supplies!
