I was recently sent a sample of Walgreens Brand Antibiotic ointment to try.   As we all know, most of the time brand name products can be less expensive than store brand items when you combine coupons and sales.

There are lots of occasions when you might be in a pinch to get a medication or pain reliever and I like the convenience of finding quality store brands at reasonable prices.

Walgreens does offer a ton of different Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products at really reasonable prices that compare to name brands.  I tested the antibiotic ointment compared to some Neosporin that I already had on hand and there was no difference that I could tell.

In regards to pricing, the Walgreens brand was priced at $5.99 for 1.0oz and the Neosporin was $8.99 for the same size.

Many of the products have the same ingredients as national brands and Walgreens offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee so if there is a product you don’t care for, just return it for a full refund!

One last point to mention is the Walgreens Way to Well Fund™.  They donate .01 from every Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness item sold to local charities, up to $3 million annually.

    Last winter I had the opportunity to try Walgreens’ brand of earwax removal kit. It was $5 less than the name brand and came with more! I was impressed and it worked!

    I like your page on facebook. and use a couple of different walgreens brand products. they havent let me down at all and its great to save that extra money and still get a great product 🙂

    I only use Walgreens brand childrens Tylenol- unless I have a buncha coupons that make the Tylenol cheaper. 😉

    I use the Walgreens Wal-Zyr for my daughters allergies. It works very well and costs less than Zyrtec.

    I have used various Walgreen’s products in the past. Before we got really into couponing I bought the Walgreen’s brand of children’s Zyrtec for my son. We have also bought band aids and the neosporn in Walgreen’s brand in the past! All really great products!

    Oh, gosh I tried one of Walgreens brand like a yr ago and can’t remember exactly the name of it but it worked pretty well. You can’t tell the difference from a Walgreens brand to something else.
