I was recently sent a sample of Walgreens Brand Antibiotic ointment to try.   As we all know, most of the time brand name products can be less expensive than store brand items when you combine coupons and sales.

There are lots of occasions when you might be in a pinch to get a medication or pain reliever and I like the convenience of finding quality store brands at reasonable prices.

Walgreens does offer a ton of different Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products at really reasonable prices that compare to name brands.  I tested the antibiotic ointment compared to some Neosporin that I already had on hand and there was no difference that I could tell.

In regards to pricing, the Walgreens brand was priced at $5.99 for 1.0oz and the Neosporin was $8.99 for the same size.

Many of the products have the same ingredients as national brands and Walgreens offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee so if there is a product you don’t care for, just return it for a full refund!

One last point to mention is the Walgreens Way to Well Fund™.  They donate .01 from every Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness item sold to local charities, up to $3 million annually.

    I have used a bunch of walgreen brand items. They’re just as good as brand name items only cheaper.

    My Walgreens is just down the street and I get free stuff all the time there. I will say Walgreens is one of my favorite places to shop. I am thre first thing Sunday morning to shop before they run out of stuff. Cause I love my freebies!

    I’ve not tried Walgreens brands, but I plan to in the near future. I just discovered the world of coupons and want to visit the store for some good savings. My family plans to spend the saved dough on our trip to Disney world!!!!!!!

    I use Wal-dryl for my daughter. It’s exactly like children’s benadryl and half the price 🙂
