I have pulled together several giveaways in honor of a big event around here. It is the second birthday of My Frugal Adventures! It seems like MFA has been part of our lives forever- and as my husband refers to it (affectionately and sometimes not so affectionately) is our third child.
So no birthday is complete without presents of course so I wanted to kick off our little birthday party with an awesome giveaway courtesy of Home Depot!

The sale runs from 1/20-2/23 and features deep discounts on all sorts of items.
As some of you might know, we have been in the midst of never ending home renovation projects. We originally intended to spruce up the kitchen a little. Well we wound up with serious water damage in the kitchen, master bathroom and the kid’s bathroom that resulted in gutting all three rooms. I am very happy to say that our final project (the master bath) just had the shower doors installed today and we have finally finished all three projects! Needless to say, Home Depot has been a second home to us for the past several months!
Now that we have 2 gorgeous new bathrooms it makes our guest bathroom even more of an eyesore. The original owners of our house made very… shall we say taste specific- choices for the house. (Including lots of brass fixtures and oak cabinets!) So our tiny guest bath is truly horrific with laminate wood floors, brass fixtures and gray marble. It is really something else.
We are certainly not in the mood for another full scale renovation, but we decided to see how much we could do on a very small budget.
So here is a little peek at the current state of the guest bath. The room is dark and depressing and is sadly the only bathroom on the main floor of the house. So it needs serious help for sure. I am super excited to start shopping at Home Depot and see what we can do to fix up this bathroom on a tight budget.
We already started looking around last weekend and we found vanities starting at $99!

New faucet and a better toilet!
I would give it to my neighbor. She is elderly and her condo burned and they gutted her entire bathroom (she has to buy everything). She did not have enough insurance.
I would get some cute accessories for all of our bathrooms…they are all so blah!

Ahh…. We know the serious ups and downs of home renovation. We are finishing (!!!) up the last of a six year, huge home renovation/addition. We started as young, overly ambitious, newlyweds and have been going strong (and sometimes not so strong) through two toddlers. Our final stages include our master bath. We would like to finally tile around the bath – drywall backer board only looks good for so long 🙂 and complete it with some fixture and trim work to create our little oasis. Thanks!

I’d love to get a new toilet for our bathroom. The seat on ours is wiggly and I’d love to be able to get one that uses less water per flush.
We are currently renovating our bathroom…and could use the giftcard
for many things! New tub, shower, vanity, mirror, tile…you name it!
I would love to get rid of my yellow tub with pinkish maroon carpet around it and get a new jacuzzi tub.

We are saving up enough to redo our bathroom. It is tiny…no room for anyone in it. So we would put it towards that. Bigger Shower and better flooring.
