I have pulled together several giveaways in honor of a big event around here. It is the second birthday of My Frugal Adventures! It seems like MFA has been part of our lives forever- and as my husband refers to it (affectionately and sometimes not so affectionately) is our third child.
So no birthday is complete without presents of course so I wanted to kick off our little birthday party with an awesome giveaway courtesy of Home Depot!
Home Depot is launching a Renew and Redo sale at stores nationwide. They are offering big discounts on products for the bathroom as well as in store experts and online tools to help you find the perfect products to complete your project. The sale runs from 1/20-2/23 and features deep discounts on all sorts of items.
As some of you might know, we have been in the midst of never ending home renovation projects. We originally intended to spruce up the kitchen a little. Well we wound up with serious water damage in the kitchen, master bathroom and the kid’s bathroom that resulted in gutting all three rooms. I am very happy to say that our final project (the master bath) just had the shower doors installed today and we have finally finished all three projects! Needless to say, Home Depot has been a second home to us for the past several months!
Now that we have 2 gorgeous new bathrooms it makes our guest bathroom even more of an eyesore. The original owners of our house made very… shall we say taste specific- choices for the house. (Including lots of brass fixtures and oak cabinets!) So our tiny guest bath is truly horrific with laminate wood floors, brass fixtures and gray marble. It is really something else.
We are certainly not in the mood for another full scale renovation, but we decided to see how much we could do on a very small budget.
So here is a little peek at the current state of the guest bath. The room is dark and depressing and is sadly the only bathroom on the main floor of the house. So it needs serious help for sure. I am super excited to start shopping at Home Depot and see what we can do to fix up this bathroom on a tight budget.
We already started looking around last weekend and we found vanities starting at $99!
I am very happy to say that Home Depot has provided me with one $100 gift card to pass along to a lucky reader to help you get started on a little makeover of your own!
This giveaway will run through Sunday 30th and you have two chances to win.

I wish I could send you a picture of my master bath right now. Imagine: an air compressor in the middle of the floor, a giant garbage can in the middle of the room, dust everywhere, semi painted walls, walls lacking texture… We started the project a few weeks ago and have hit some snags. The biggest: removing the giant mirror. It had to be broken because it was too heavy. Now the countertop and sink combo that we had planned to keep have huge nicks do to falling mirror (really, really heavy mirror!). So, if I got the gift card, it would go towards the countertop and sinks we did not budget for.
A new sink/vanity. Thanks.

Where do I start….I would love new tile for the floor and a new vanity!
We built & moved into our rustic home before finishing it, so needless to say, funds and finishing steam ran out before all work was complete! We need to finish the walls in our bathroom, right now we have some sheetrock tacked up on some of the walls. Our plans are to put up rustic type wood. $100 would certainly help out!
I definitely understand what it is like to have Home Depot be your ‘second home’. The day our daughter was born was the day movers came to take our boxes from our apartment to our new home (we certainly don’t recommend this!). Well the following few months were a little crazy with a newborn and a new house. We needed serious renovations in the house, which we did, but left the kitchen and two bathrooms in their original state, ew. With that said, with an extra $100, I would buy a sink vanity- they are so cute and are often on sale for less an $100. It would replace the strange fairy-gold-dusted-sink-sunk-into-a-bubblegum-pink-and-white-cabinet, yikes. Thanks for the opportunity to enter 🙂
I need all of the bathroom accessories. Shower curtain, decorations, rugs etc… It is bare right now. Not sure where to start. Thank you.
