I have pulled together several giveaways in honor of a big event around here. It is the second birthday of My Frugal Adventures! It seems like MFA has been part of our lives forever- and as my husband refers to it (affectionately and sometimes not so affectionately) is our third child.
So no birthday is complete without presents of course so I wanted to kick off our little birthday party with an awesome giveaway courtesy of Home Depot!
Home Depot is launching a Renew and Redo sale at stores nationwide. They are offering big discounts on products for the bathroom as well as in store experts and online tools to help you find the perfect products to complete your project. The sale runs from 1/20-2/23 and features deep discounts on all sorts of items.
As some of you might know, we have been in the midst of never ending home renovation projects. We originally intended to spruce up the kitchen a little. Well we wound up with serious water damage in the kitchen, master bathroom and the kid’s bathroom that resulted in gutting all three rooms. I am very happy to say that our final project (the master bath) just had the shower doors installed today and we have finally finished all three projects! Needless to say, Home Depot has been a second home to us for the past several months!
Now that we have 2 gorgeous new bathrooms it makes our guest bathroom even more of an eyesore. The original owners of our house made very… shall we say taste specific- choices for the house. (Including lots of brass fixtures and oak cabinets!) So our tiny guest bath is truly horrific with laminate wood floors, brass fixtures and gray marble. It is really something else.
We are certainly not in the mood for another full scale renovation, but we decided to see how much we could do on a very small budget.
So here is a little peek at the current state of the guest bath. The room is dark and depressing and is sadly the only bathroom on the main floor of the house. So it needs serious help for sure. I am super excited to start shopping at Home Depot and see what we can do to fix up this bathroom on a tight budget.
We already started looking around last weekend and we found vanities starting at $99!
I am very happy to say that Home Depot has provided me with one $100 gift card to pass along to a lucky reader to help you get started on a little makeover of your own!
This giveaway will run through Sunday 30th and you have two chances to win.

LOVE this giveaway! I would like to replace the toilet in the main bathroom and add some organizational items (baskets, bins, etc) my bathroom closet.
We need a new mirror and blinds (the blinds so that, when I get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, I don’t have to go in the dark!)
Well, my first choice would be to get a front door for the house that opens the right way. But both our bathrooms could also use new faucets and the main bathroom needs new flooring, too…. 🙂
A towel tower or cabinet would be lovely to help organize all the baby towels and washcloths!
Definitely a vanity with storage!

You name it…we could use it. Probably highest priority is changing out the big brass vanity lights….ugh!

I would get new hardware & light fixtures.
I would love a new sink and faucet. Ours are gross and stained.
I would love to get a new mirror to match my vanity

I need tile for my floor – bad! The floor in my bathroom and in my laundry room are the only spaces we haven’t finished yet, and you can tell. I’d <3 to win this card!!!

New light fixtures!
I need a whole makeover on my master bath. The counter is way too low, the shower pan is gross, and I don’t have a bathtub to soak in!
I would buy a new mirror. thanks!

We need a new light fixture and a shower head.
I would love to replace the lighting. It is the 70’s hanging lamps. When we purchased this house 3 1/2 years ago, I wanted to replace them. Still have not done it. And now my husband is laid off, so it will be a while. I hope I win!
We desperately need a new faucet!
I also subscribe to your emails through facebook.
I would have to say better shower head, bath mats, covers, and accesories since we’re renting.
This is timely as we too are about to embark on a bathroom renovation. So the question is more like, what don’t we need?? I definitely want new lighting and flooring! That’d be a good place to start.
We will be buying our first house soon and this would be so great to have!!
Good luck to us all!
**Happy Birthday MFA!**
I would love, love, love to replace the lighting in our bathroom. It is the standard bar style fixture that runs along the top of the mirror and takes 6 globes. Any extra $ would be put towards some of the 12″x12″ sheets of the 1″x1″ glass tiles I have had my eye on!

My husband and I definitely need a new bathroom sink. Our bathroom is small and the sink is just way to big for the small space.
I would buy a new Baer faucet and new Vanity for the sinks
I would love a soaking tub for our master bath
I need new tile in my bathroom!
I would love to get some new fixtures!

We need a new countertop. Our sink leaks where the basin meets the counter. We want an all in one.
New tile and new shower fixtures 🙂 Ours have seen better days (in the 1950’s, lol).
I would love to take off the wall paper in our bathroom and replace the wall with a really nice warm paint job.
I would love to buy new faucets for my parents’ bathroom! Theirs are grungy and leaky…

I would like to add cabinet to the master bath for towels. Right now we have to store towels in the master closet, which is okay but would be so much easier if they were right there in the bathroom. I also would love to change the mirror in that bath. We currently have a huge but plain mirror and think that if we did two more decorative but smaller the cabinet for the towels could extend up from the counter between the two mirrors. Thanks for the contest giveaway. We spend alot of time in Home Depot and would love a giftcard. Also, I love your blog, check it daily. Thanks
New flooring would be awesome!
I would love to get some new light fixtures!
I need a new vanity with a second sink and would love to have a deep soak tub.
We are looking into same project. I have been thinking – change flooring – linoleum is durable and nowdays you cant even tell difference between linoleum and other materials. then instead of tiles i would go for vinyl wallpaper that looks exactkly like tiles only it is less expensive and you can change it easy in case you don like it. if budget allows – change lightig and maybe vanities.
