I have a quick giveaway to get the holiday weekend started!  Be sure to check in tomorrow as well for another fun giveaway.

Today I have a $25 gift card for use at any of the Safeway Family of stores: Vons, Randalls, Dominicks, Genuardis, Carrs, Tom Thumb or Pavillon.

This is in honor of the “10% Goes Back to Schools” promotion running through 9/14.  When you purchase one of over 2,000 products that feature the image above in your store, 10% of the purchase price is donated by Safeway to a local school!

You can check your receipt each time you shop and your totals should be updated at the bottom.

Now I just checked a receipt I had on hand and I have spent $80 in participating items.  That means that I will be able to choose a school and Safeway will donate $8!  For coupon shoppers this is really amazing because I can assure you I did not spend $80- probably closer to $20.

    If I win I would give this to my parents since my Dad has been out of work for almost 2 years. I shop Safe Way every few months when I visit them in CO and look at your match ups when I do 🙂

    I shop at Tom Thumb in Texas, and some of the sales are different, but for the most part I think they match up pretty well from what I have seen. I can buy lots of groceries for $25, or perhaps it will be a good week to stock up on some meat!

    I shop at Safeway in Nogales, AZ. I check your website along with a couple others to make sure I don’t miss anything. 🙂 I never buy items from there that aren’t on sale or that I have a coupon for, and I am usually able to save at least 40% according to my receipts.
