The winner was Kari.
I have to tell you right off the bat that this is in no way an unbiased review. I worked at the Good Earth restaurants when I was 17 and it always brings back such lovely memories, I am very partial to their products. Especially the tea which is my favorite.
Anyway, I was very happy to check out the new restaurant favorites meal kits which should be hitting supermarket shelves in the next few weeks. The kit we received was Mediterranean chicken and included whole grain pasta, creamy sauce, seasoning, and you just add the chicken.
I was thinking this would be dry and taste cardboardy for some reason and we were surprised that is was actually pretty tasty. The pasta came out well and the sauce was nice and rich. We actually added a few extras to the pasta to jazz it up a little more- like sun dried tomatoes and feta cheese but you can easily serve it on its own.
Overall I think this is terribly convenient and these are very easy kits for people with smaller families especially.
If you want to check out the Good Earth Restaurant Favorites as well, you can! I have a complete kit available with a recycled tote bag, bamboo serving pieces and one of the entrees.
If you would like to enter to win, there are 4 chances. I will randomly select a winner on Tuesday at 11am PST.

My first job was correcting math papers for a tutoring agency. (I was 13, so I did pretty easy papers.) ๐ I had a great time – I was the youngest of the bunch (everyone else was in high school & college), so I was pretty much adopted by all as the little sister. Ah, if all jobs were that easy! ๐

My first paid job was at age 18 as a medical receptionist. Like all jobs I liked it at first, especially the fact that I was actually getting money lol…but then you find out your boss is a real jerk and that soured things for me. Fortunately I was able to quit and found a wonderful job working at the college I attended, which I LOVED
My first job was bagging groceries on the military base we lived on. I worked for tips and all my friends worked there too. We would walk (or once we turned 16 and got our licenses) drive up together and it was so much fun being able to talk, laugh and goof off…all while earning cash, tax free income! On busy days we could each walk out of Commissary with close to $100. It was awesome!
What a cool giveaway! Here’s to hoping I’m the lucky one!! After many summers of being a camp counselor, my first post-college job was a program presenter with a program called “Stop and Think” I got to talk to middle and high school students about sexual abstinence until marriage! I LOVED it! Although, I was a little red faced when my nick name from my first presentation was “Sex Lady”.
My first job was at my college bookstore. I loved it!

Definitely a good job! I taught children’s aerobics at a local gym. It was so much fun!
My first job was cleaning the house of a summer couple. They had remodeled an old farmhouse and I had to scrub the exposed beams with a toothbrush. That wasn’t fun. The fun part was she read a lot and let me borrow her books.

My first job in high school was a home-based business called Queen’s Way to Fashion – think Tupperware or Longaberger with clothes instead. I loved it. I made way more than I ever could working in a store.

I was an office assistant – sorting files alphabetically and answering phones. Not a bad gig, just kind of boring. People were really nice though.
