I haven’t wanted to post this because I hate to set you guys up for disappointment- but maybe some of you have done this already and can share how it went for you.
All month long Ben Gay Pain and Relief + Massage is priced at $4.99 at Walgreens. There is a $5 off coupon HERE*– which should in theory make these free. (I mentioned this coupon numerous times so you might have already printed it!) In my experience at Walgreens they will not adjust a coupon down- even one penny and the coupon will beep since it is higher in value than the product.
I know there must be stores out there that are much more coupon friendly and will do this for you so it is worth a shot! You can also take this $5 coupon to Target where these are $7.89. I believe they might be around $4.99 at Walmart- but again you will need to find a cashier that will adjust the coupon down.
On another note, I just did a challenging calf workout the other day and I used this stuff the next day and it is fantastic! Totally works (except my cap keeps falling off).
*Well boo- this printed as $5 for me but it seems to be $3 now.
Updated again: I took the $5 0ne I printed a few hours ago and my store actually did accept it! Whoo hoo- they called a manager and had the item marked down to $4.99 so I just paid tax.
I was hesitant to do this deal too because I was afraid of the dreaded beep but I am happy to say it sailed right through with NO BEEPS! Yay!
I signed up via the link and my coupon was for $3.
Worked out great for me in Killeen, TX. The coupon is now only for $3 though.
Hmm. I had this from before but I just signed up again and it was $5 for me? Boo. I guess that solves the issue of beeps!
Just printed mine and it was also for $3.00 Message at the bottom says “sorry if you were expecting a $5.00 coupon. That offer was only available for a limited time and is no longer available-but please enjoy $3.00 off one bengay pain relief and massage product ( excluding trial size ) “
I made a complaint online about my Walgreens not adjusting coupons down. The manager of my store called me back and said he can’t adjust coupons down, but they can change the price of their item to match the coupon. I was able to use this coupon at my store yesterday as a result!
Well poop- maybe I got the last $5 one. They must appreciate my enthusiasm for the product! 😛
I got 4 of them for free. (Posted on my blog)
I printed 2 of these the other day and bought 2 of them along with another bengay item that I had a $2 coupon for from a sunday insert.
So I had 3 bengay items all at 4.99 each (14.97) I used $12 in coupons (2 -$5 coupons and one $2 coupon) so all three items only cost 2.97 plus tax! Not a bad deal! The third item ate up the extra penny off the first 2 so no beeps for me either!
Good lord, Walgreens is unpleasant to deal with. I managed to get two, I just had to buy filler items.
i have some of the $5 off Q’s but my WAGS said no 🙁
Dont buy these free items by themselves if the coupon is worth more than the items price. I bought this and the bayer along with another product i needed at the time and no beeps… so if your store wont adjust the coupon down, just find a cheap candy bar or something to make up for that extra penny.
Really Amber? I find it beeps if the value of the item is less than the coupon no matter what. It beeped today and I purchased milk so my total was $3.30 after coupon. I don’ shop at Walgreens often enough, so maybe it depends on the coupon.
My WAGS refused to adjust the coupon. Some of the WAGS employees are starting to review every coupon and transaction and refusing to even try to scan in some coupons that I know will work. The managers agree with the employees. Phooey!
i have found that in the Sacramento area, there are very few Wags stores & employees who are Q friendly
i’ve been to several stores, and they are all about the same.
