Now this may have just been my store so I don’t want to send everyone on a wild goose chase. I found a ton of items in the freezer section of my Walgreens marked on clearance.
There were quite a few things:
Mrs. Smith Pies were .55-1.19
Tony’s Pepperoni Pizza Rolls .32
Lean Cuisine Entrees 1.09
Healthy Choice Ice Cream 1.09
Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream 1.29 (the flavor was tiramisu or something)
Walgreens Cherry Ice Cream pints .57
and maybe best of all was Bertolli Dinners for $2.19! The one I saw is pictured above and with the $1.50/1 coupon from the 3/14 RP- it would be .69!
So if you happen to be heading out to Walgreens you might have a quick look!
Mine too! Haagen Daz $1.29!!!
My Walgreens had a lot of freezer items on clearance too. I picked up some weight watchers fudge bars, and some ben and jerrys. This was about 3 days ago, so hopefully everyone can find some great deals also:)
I was at my local Target. It was a district 1 store so much smaller then the super centers but it had the Ore-Ida Steam Mash Potatoes on clearance for $2.40 and if you combine it with the coupon here it will be $1.40 http://www.oreida.com/promotions-savings/default.aspx
I was at Walgreen’s last Saturday and hit the frozen section jackpot on clearance stuff too. I got over $50 worth of stuff for $15!
I also found these items on clearance. There are 3 Walgreens within the area I live in. All 3 had the Bertoli Dinners and they all were out of date by at least 12 days or more. One of the stores also had the pies on the shelf also out of date. Be careful when you buy clearance products at this store. These are not grocery stores even though they sell groceries. When I mentioned to the employees that these items were out of date, one cashier told me they don’t check the dates very often so not only was it possible but almost guaranteed that food was out of date.
Oh yuck! Excellent point Dionna!
I didnt score any meals…I did score 7 bags of Ghirardelli milk chocolate squares…just in time for Easter!!

Okay, ladies, a frozen dinner 12 days out-of-date that’s super cheap? It won’t hurt you at all. Just use it up quick if you’re freakin’. I would not be afraid to use it and that’s a great price. I’ve heard they’re pretty tasty?
