You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right HERE. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!

Did I miss anything this week?
Nanell says
My store has Fresh Express Salad mix on sale for .99 cents. Use the $1 off coupon from the Wellness Ideas and Recipes book found on the display at Albertsons and get them free.
I had the book in my car so I got 6 bags free today.
Susan says
Thank you for a terrific site. I’ve been reading your blog and saving for awhile now. Can you help me out with the math with the Fabreze on your first deal idea?
Charlene says
I am not sure what is confusing but it looks like the Olay might not be included. For the Febreze you load a coupon onto your club card (using the link I provided) and the coupon value will come off one time when you buy the correct item. They Buy One Get One coupon means that you buy 2 of them and the value of both item counts toward the $25. The cashier will then take the value of one off your bill when you hand them the coupon.
So buy 2 at 4.29 = 8.58 (that is $8.58 toward the $25 needed)
Use the $1 e-coupon= $7.58
Hand the cashier your BOGO coupon
Total is $3.29 for both

I just wanted to let you know that the safeway were I live has london Broil on sale for $1.77 a pound! Most people dont know this but you can call the store and have the butcher grind it in to hamberger meet for NO CAHRGE!! I don’t know about you, but I am stocking up my freezer!
Becky says
I just tried to do the Pampers Scenario and my store didn’t include the Pampers so I didn’t get the $10 catalina. Has anyone had luck with getting the catalina from the Pampers?
ednelle says
not sure if you posted this somewhere, but safeway currently has some nabisco cookies and crackers for $0.99. i used the $1 coupon from the dinner made easy (i think that’s the name) and got it for free!
Charlene says
Hi Ednelle, I didn’t see that- I will look into it thanks!
Charlene says
Becky I should have edited that post. I tried to make it clear to be sure to look for the signage indicating what was included in the promotion. If the Pampers were marked at your store than you need to address the problem with your store manager. Otherwise it appears only cleaning items were included in the promotion- which to me is a great big dud. Safeway did not have any sort of list of what was included they simply said look in store for the tags indicating each item is included.
ednelle says
forgot to say, i found the nabisco crackers and cookies for $0.99 in a shelf by the
registers (some reason they were not with the rest of the nabisco items, at least not in my store). the only ones included are the teddy grahams, cheese nips, and animal crackers
Charlene says
Ednelle were those the single serve ones? I am a little concerned some cashiers will refuse to honor the coupon for those. I am finding Safeway to be real sticklers lately.
ednelle says
the coupon book is the simple, affordable meals (store coupons)and the coupon is on page 27 nabisco snack crackers 5.5 to 20oz. i bought the animal crackers and it’s 8 oz. and i believe the cheese nips also qualifies.
