Thanks to Amy T. for giving me a head’s up about this book. I found these posted all over my store tonight and there was also a large freestanding display in the meat department with more booklets.
This book has $20 in coupons inside for Safeway and all the affiliate stores. These are store coupons so you should be able to stack these with manufacturer coupons just like the ones in the ad. They expire 2/28. These do say minimum $20 purchase required but that is pre coupon!

Oh wow! I really need to go find this! Some great coupons! I hope they really do stack! Some of those also have e-coupons which should make for some even better scenarios!
P.S. I cannot ever say enough how much I love your blog. When I first started visiting blogs to find the good deals I would go to like 10 different blogs and now I’ve found that I can find most of the deals with just yours. It really is great! Thank You!
Whew -ee Paula you made my night- thanks! I am going to put up some match ups but I wanted a separate post with just the coupons so I can refer back to it for the next few weeks. As soon as I get done with Walgreens and Target I will get those done 🙂
Just a heads up that my Safeway in Chico CA was monitoring how many coupon books they were handing out. I had to ask if I could have two because they were behind the customer service. Have you ever heard of them doing this before?
No- boo! I think sometimes stores are unpleasant about things because they have people that get carried away. I once read about a lady that used 152 Target coupons for $1 off coffee on the trial size coffees and got 152 of them for free. She walked out without paying a dime. Maybe that is why they are difficult or maybe they just only got a small number of them and didn’t want them gone at one time?
My store in San Diego, Ca had the signage up for the booklets but didn’t have the actual books yet. I’ll check back. As for the coffee lady, that’s insane, but I guess she wasn’t violating the coupon “rules” if she was allowed to do it. I’d feel pretty skeevy about buying that much product though!
Got mine….my store still had the $26 coupon booklet too!
Hi Charlene,
Just returned from Safeway and did all the deals you posted about. Bought 4 Honeynut Cheerios, 8 B/C Fruit snacks and 5 Cream Cheese. Paid 9.20, and got 8.50 in catalinas and 2.40 cash as I paid with ebt! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! I also found a new coupon book (I think) ‘Party Playbook, Game Day Greats’ for Nabisco products with $6 in cpns. Tear off pad cpns for 1 off wyb 1 Nabisco Saltines + 1 canned soup/chili.
I wish they’d get the coupon booklets at my store already. I checked back 3 times this week and they still don’t have them!! 🙁
Coupons started off as nothing more than pieces of paper which you would cut out of advertisements that were typically inside the newspaper using a pair of scissors to ensure that you could bring them to the retailer to redeem for a small amount off of what ever obtain you were about to make. Numerous people (probably your self included!) still do this. But there are a whole lot more ways to use coupons now!
