After the serious let down on the last Walgreens Facebook “freebie” offer I am very apprehensive to post any other deals. But here is a rumor and we will have to wait and see what happens on Thursday.
Supposedly Walgreens is having a Friends and Family event on Friday 12/18 only with an extra 15% off everything in store. You might have already seen coupons in your store and last time they also emailed them and had them up on the web site.
The rumor is that this time around they will have the coupons HERE for Facebook fans on Thursday. I wanted to give everyone a heads up that we might see these if you are planning a trip this week. The Holiday Register Rewards are also starting again Wednesday-Sunday with a $5 Register Reward printing when you spend $25 or more.

Will we still get the $5 RR is we use a $5 one from last week’s spend $25 get $5?
Sara, if you use a regular RR to pay for purchases over $25 you will still get the $5 holiday reward, but you can’t use a $5 holiday reward and get a $5 holiday reward back. Also, you can not use more than one $5 holiday reward with a transaction. The register will beep and it won’t accept it, and there’s no number for them to manually put in.
I don’t know about this week, but last week purchasing stamps counted in the $25 amount.

The Holiday Register Rewards are only running Wednesday and Thursday this week. I assume they probably cut it short because of the friends and family coupon.
I just wanted to tell you about my amazing diaper deal I pulled this week at Walgreens! (Or, I made a friend do because I can’t justify buying anymore diapers right now…I just don’t know what sizes I will need.)
I had a $5 RR and a $3 Huggies coupon I didn’t really need and with the diapers on sales for $8.99 that made them $0.99. Granted, my friend had to throw in a candy bar (I think she was buying photos anyway, so she didn’t have to do anything.) to be able to use both of those, but we also got back a $2 RR. I felt? Pretty amazing. Especially considering I needed NOTHING else from Walgreens this week. The reason I can’t justify more diapers is simply that my 2yr old is almost ready to potty train and I have 300 more diapers of hers and tho I’m having a baby on the 30th, I seriously have 1000 diapers in sizes 1 & 2, 3 packs of newborns I may or may not need (I tend to have big babies) and I know I can get more newborns from the hospital if I need them…In case you wanted to hear my entire life story…
Yes the ad does say the $5RR on $25 purchase is only on 12/16 & 12/17. Will have to try the stamps tomarrow to see if that will prompt one.
I also did the huggies deal and if you use the $5 holiday RR it does not attach to anything so you can still use the $1 activity book coupon and the $2 huggies manuf. coupon pay $0.99 and get the $2 RR. It also worked on the pull ups. For this transaction I did not have to add a filler at all.
You can print the Fans and Family coupon now from facebook. It is good 12/17 and 12/18 so if you want to use it and still get your $5 rr for $25 purchase you got to do it Thursday.
