Giveaway for Mom! (2) Eileen Goudge Books

OK once upon a time I used to read a novel a week. Then we had our toddler and I would read a novel a month. Then we had baby #2 and I started blogging and now I read a novel a year. So I was excited to get Once In Blue Moon by Eileen Goudge to review.
.
I was glad to have a reason to actually sit down a read a book again! I hadn’t heard of Eileen Goudge before but she gets great reviews from the critics and I can see why many people love her novels. Once Upon a Blue Moon is the story of two sisters separated when they are little and placed in foster homes. One gets placed in a loving home and the other sister is bounced around to awful foster families.

They lead two very different lives and then reconnect years later. The story is all about whether or not they can become a family again. So if you want something that will draw you in quickly, with a very compelling storyline than I have the book for you!
.
One to One Network is generously offering one reader a copy of Once in a Blue Moon as well as another Eileen Goudge bestselling book, Lady in Red.
.
This is just a quick 24 hour giveaway. If you’d like to enter just leave me a comment and tell me how/when you fit reading into your busy schedule? The contest will end Wednesday 21st at 9pm PST. Please leave your email address so I can contact the winner!
.
Disclosure: I was not compensated in anyway for this review. The opinions expressed are my own. I was provided a copy of the book by One to One Networks.

I loved reading everyone's posts about trying to steal a moment to read. I am a voracious reader at heart, but these days I seem to be nickel-and-diming my way through books, reading just a few pages at a time. I have a happy houseful of children (six–three girls and three boys) and I try to read a bit every day during their nap time. It's my time to re-charge. ๐Ÿ™‚

With two kids in two different schools, part-time work and everything that comes with being a mom, it's hard to find time to read. When I do get a good juicy novel, I put it in my car and sneak a chapter here and there while I wait for the kids to come to the car after lessons and school.

I read before bed, during breaks at work, while waiting for an appointment, watching TV, eating, whenever I can get a book in my hands.

fitting reading into my busy schedule is close to impossible.. im lucky if i get a few pages read a night.. i try really hard to make it a point to get lost in something to read, as its nice to have that time to yourself after the kids are asleep… but i too have a toddler and now a 2 month old, so im sure reading will come less and less, and least things i like to read, i read the kiddy books lots of times daily.

Like most people with small children, it is hard to find time for pleasure reading. But, I love to read so I, too, stay up way past my "bedtime" devouring good books. I have never read Eileen Goudge before but her books look very good!!

I have always loved to read. Experiencing the "empty nest" stage of my life and so I am free to read whenever I'd like. Sounds good? Most times, but then I read another post about moms & kids and naptime and I drift to another time. Excuse me, I think I'll go read.

I have always loved to read, I usually fit it in anywhere I can. Our first little one is on his way, so it is just hubby and me time at the moment.
