Wasn't there a Hershey Kiss coupon in the paper?

  2. Charlene says

    09/25/2009 at 9:58 PM

Yes I have to double check it but according to the database the sizes don't match. I could have sworn that coupon said any kisses- but the database says 11.5 or lrgr and the ones on sale are 8.5oz.

i was so excited about these registe rewards so i went to walgreens last week and bought something for $6.99 and another item for $1.99 and got $1.99 payed for it and received $6.99 and $1.99 register rewards then turned aroun and tried to buy a toy for my baby for $8.99 and use both my rewards but they only le me use 1 register rewards at a time for 1 item. so how do you go abot being a smart register reards shopper?

    Hi tlram,

If you read the two posts at the very top that should help. You need an equal number of items to coupons so you had 1 toy and (2) RR which are coupons. Therefore only one will work. If you had grabbed a filler- like the .33 caramels at the registers you would have 2 items and 2 coupons and could have used both.

ohh. thanks, sorry for the typos but my keyboard is messing up. okay so let me get this straight… bare with me, i want to buy the vaseline sheer infusion lotion for $6.99, use $1.50 coupon, pay $5.49 and dentek floss picks for $2, use $1 coupon totaling $6.49 plus tax out of pocket. then turn around and get rr $2 for floss and $6.99 for lotion and buy the gilette fusion mvp razor and the roc skin perfecting system and use the $10 coupon and my rr. will that work? thanks for your help.

    Hi Charlene,
You mentioned something a while back about All You magazines coming out this month, but I haven't gotten one yet. Any idea about my new subscription? Thanks!

    Hi Charlene,

Is it true that my OOP should exceed the total amount of RR I could receive in a single transaction. For eg. if I need to get $6 in RR, my OOp should be $6 or more….is this true? My RR did not print out for Softsoap last week. The manager did come over and correct it, but he said my OOp should exceed the amount in RRs, or else Walgreens was paying me to shop at their stores. Have you heard this before? Isn't it strange how a store will be empty till you go to check-out and while you're busy making a fool of yourself, a large crowd has gathered in a line behind you? Please respond before my next humiliating trip which is tomorrow……

I would love to know how you are going to "roll" your RR. I am not so good at figuring those out. I have a few RR from last week. I am going to try the lotion deal first. I have a $5 RR and the $1.50 MQ, so 49 cents OOP + tax. Then use the $6.99 RR to buy the razor and chapstick, so $8.99 – $4 MQ = $4.99, chapstick $2.99 total $7.98, minus $6.99 RR and $1 RR I have, small filler, upload a photo works great! Am I on the right track. Then I will do the Theraflu, will be free with MQ and Wags store coupon. What are you going to do Charlene?? Thanks!!

I've only been shopping at Walgreens for a few weeks, so I'm still learning all the ropes about rolling RR's. Our local Wags has chap stick (0.25) that I've been using for fillers. I haven't seen any caramels tho. This week I started out with $17.50 RR and ended with $23.00 RR. My OOP was $22.56. The items I actually needed was $22.18. I ended up with $123 worth of items (Advertised price before coupons). Most of that will be given away to a children's center.

I am wondering though if the same items come up for sale with the same coupon match-up i.e. the True North crackers, or if it's just a one-time promotion.

If I get worried about too many RR's, I'll buy milk, rebate items, or other items on sale. It's just hard not to buy 'extra' when you make money on the purchase i.e. the $6.99 lotion less $1.50 coupon and get $7 RR back.

I tried to print out the coupon for the Theraflu but the site says, "There are no prints available for this campaign".

Yeah, I don't roll my RR I just use them on TP or food or basic needs. I have a Walgreen's just across the street so I probbaly would have bought a lot of that there anyway.

I'm in california and the Healthy savings booklet here has a $2 off theraflu Walgreens coupon, I assume these can be used for the theraflu deal… Theraflu 2/$8 minus 2/$2 coupons equals $4oop and you get $4RR so free

Hi icortez, That is exactly what I posted- not sure if you can still print the $2 manufacturer coupons but if you can it is a $4 moneymaker.
