I love mushroom rice as a side dish, a cup of rice with 1 can each of beef broth and french onion soup and either fresh sauted mushrooms or canned all in the oven at 350. i'm not much of a cook, but my mom taught me this and it's yummy!

We, in our household, love rice! It's a staple, just like tp;) Anyhow… our most favorite way of preparing it is within a casserole. Our favorite is chicken, rice and broccoli. I take skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut them into bite-size pieces, cook them through. Setting that aside, cook rice till done. Then, cook broccoli till done. In a med.-size bowl, add one can cream of chicken soup(or whatever, other creamed soup you have on hand), about 1/2 cup of mayonnaise and whatever else you feel like tossing in (leftover veggies, etc.). Mix the entire thing in a huge bowl, then dump it into a 13X9" baking pan. If you want, add cheese or bread crumbs to the top. Then, bake until heated through! YUUUUUM;)

    Sincerely,
    Heather S.

I love to cook the Minute Brown Rice in the microwave and serve it with gumbo. I always cook extra – usually the entire box. I portion the left-over rice into meal size packets, and we're ready to go for several more meals!
