Walgreens: Hershey’s Candy and Butterball Turkey Bacon $.50

Here are two highlights from Walgreens this week.

They have Hershey’s Simple Pleasures candy listed at $3.00 per bag when you buy 2
Use the $1/1 Hershey’s Coupon (must declare)
and Use the $1.50/1 from the Walgreens July Coupon book
Final Price: $.50 per bag!

You could make molten chocolate chip cookies with these!

*Note: the Hershey’s is not listed in the regular ad but rather the online bonus buys that should be available in most stores.  (Just check your local ad online and click the green bonus buys in the top left.)

Also, I mentioned this in the weekly deals but I didn’t want anyone to overlook the deal.

Butterball Turkey Bacon is priced at $.99
Use $1/2 Butterball Turkey Dinner Sausage or Bacon, exp. 9/9/12 (ALL YOU July ’12)
or Use $1/2 Butterball Turkey Dinner Sausage or Bacon, from 6/24 SS
Final Price: $.49!

That is an excellent price if you like this item. I don’t think Target carries Butterball but you might be able to price match at Walmart.

One last bonus buy I wanted to mention:

If you need any disposable tabletop items, there are some great prices on the Walgreens brand.

Sandwich bags, storage bags, cutlery, plates etc… are all $1.00 when you buy 5 or $1.29 each.

I have to check out the disposable tablecloths.  I am thinking my girls could color all over that and be very happy campers.

Can I print that Walgreens coupon and take it in rather than counting on them having the coupon books there? Don’t shop much at Walgreens, but going to be near one next week and I got me a chocolate craving! : )

    Yes Melissa,

    You can print right here:

Bummer! Just visited my store in Duluth, MN and the chocolate offer wasn’t on. Also, to make it more annoying, the RR’s weren’t printing. They gave me forms to fill out and mail in, so I guess I’ll just have to practice patience – must be because I was trying to explain the concept to my son this morning!

    Elizabeth,

Did you check the bonus buys for your ad under your zip code? There is a good chance the items were not marked correctly so did you ask for a price check?

I checked the website, and I don’t see anything that says bonus buys at all. 🙁
    Thanks for answering though!

    Elizabeth,

I checked the ad for Duluth and they are on sale for $3. The one I looked at is on E. Superior Street. The ad is listed here:

    http://walgreens.shoplocal.com/walgreens/default.aspx?action=entryflash&

The candy is listed at the top of page 2 in the corner next to Lipton tea.

Thanks so much, Charlene! I looked at the ad about 3 times and missed it. *blushes*

Thanks for all your great deals! I have just about given up on Walgreens because there always seems to be some issue or another about accepting coupons. I work hard to try and have all my ducks in a row (having at least the same amount of items as coupons, ect.) before I get to the register but there is nearly always something that the computer or the clerck rejects. Well, I decided to give them one more try for the Simple Pleasures deal yesterday. The coupon book Q wouldn’t work. Called the manager. Still wouldn’t scan. Saw in the fine print “one per customer.” Took one off – since there weren’t two on the transaction, it rang up at 3.59. Coupon still wouldn’t scan. The Manager took 1.50 off manually and I ended up with one bag for 1.09.
I smiled and thanked them for the work they put in for me but it will probably be awhile before I give them another try. I hope all of you get the deal to work out perfectly for you.
