UPDATE: Looks like they caught the Nivea glitch and it is no longer printing the ECBs.
Here are a few more deals for CVS this week.
There is a $2 ECB (limit 4) printing on select Nivea items.
Now as of posting, it is working on the tins of Nivea lotion that are priced at $.99. So you will pay $.99 and get back a $2 ECB.
I can’t promise this will work everywhere and it is unadvertised. The nice thing is that you won’t use any coupons, so you can always return the lotion if the ECB does not print.
I tested the little travel lotion size as well to see (pictured top right) and that DID NOT work. So stick to the tins and those are typically found on the shelf with the lotion not the travel section.
I only bought 1 myself but the limit is 4 so you should be able to do this 4 times.
Also, the CVS coupon scanner is printing a coupon for a free Cortaid this week. This might not be available to everyone but you can certainly keep scanning away and hopefully you get it.
My coupon expires 7/8 and says it is valid up to $5.99. The Cortaid was priced at $7.49 on the shelf at my store and actually rang up at $6.49. Sometimes those CVS coupons will take off the full value but when I tried it, the coupon took off $5.99 and I paid $.50 + tax.
See more CVS deals for the week here.
(Thanks Drugstore Divas!)

Nivea deal worked for me in OH. Also got the Cortaid coupon, but the store was out of stock, so they allowed me to substitute CVS brand cortisone cream.

Yay! Thanks for this post! It worked for me. Too bad my store only had 2 of the blue tins. I didn’t have the guts to try the white tins. Does anyone know if those are triggering ECBs?
Amanda says
My cortaid was only $5.79!! And I got 4 tins 🙂
linda says
@Jessica yes the white tins work! That was the creme I posted at the top
Jen says

didn’t know could be $2 for one
today the quarterly ECBs are printing, so all I had with me was a 30% off coupon and my quarterly .50 ECB
had to fork over about $1 and got 4ECB
Could’ve just gotten one for abot .19 for 2ECB
(then used it to buy 2 more :)…. )
No Cortaid here

JJ says
bought the blue the same tin in the picture, but it was 1.19 at my store and no ECB printed 🙁
Tammy says
I also got the Cortaid CVS Q from the machine but my store was out of it (as usual – it seems like they are always out of things!)…..so, if they don’t get it re-stocked before the Q expires, am I just out of luck then?
Thanks for the heads-up on the Nivea – I’m going after work to see if it works here in No. Calif! Fingers crossed! 🙂
Charlene says
Tammy,
I would just call your store and ask. They might substitute an item or give you a raincheck. Typically CVS has excellent service on this type of thing.
Charlene says
JJ,
They may have caught the error because I am sure they didn’t intend for these to be part of the promo. No reason to be sad, you can always just return the tin if you don’t want it.
Endcapps says
Thx Charlene for both CVS deals and the picture!
JJ says
I know… glitch over…lol 😉
Tammy says
Thanks Charlene! I went last night and checked on the Nivea and of course it wasn’t printing the ECB’s here – there were only 2 tins on the shelf so I was sure it must have been working but when they rang it up it didn’t produce the ECB’s so they just voided it for me. As I was standing there I was chatting with the manager and she put a note on and initialed the CVS Q for the Cortaid saying to extend the price since they were out of the product. So, at least I have a rain-check for that! Thanks again for all your help! LOVE your site! 🙂
Charlene says
Oh good! CVS seems a little slower on catching little errors like this but they sure caught this one fast ;).

I was able to use a $1/1 Cortaid product, and the free coupon. My store had it for $6.49. So the overage paid for the tax.
